    Hi Mike,what your eating is Lu pulu masima,also known as Lu Povi masima,salted beef or brisket to some😊and its a Tongan dish,Lu sipi is made with lamb ribs or lamb flaps😊

    👋🏼😀 Hi guys, I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Memories about Mangere while watching your video. And the best way to enjoy fish & chips is indeed by the water. I would have gotten a piece of taro to eat with that sashimi 💗🥰mm yummy thinking about it.

    New to you're channel.. Hong Kong Bakery my fisrt stop whenever I'm in NZ. Love love their Chop suey pie. Mangere Bridge brings back memories mum & dad going to Sunday fish markets.

    Also to note,Samoans Lu or Palosami which is taro leaves is just Lu with Coconut cream and with “No meat at all.😊

    Used to live in Mangere Bridge and I loved Hong Kong bakery! Was so neat seeing it appear in this video. Their chop suey boys are so yummy. Thank youu for sharing!

    I really enjoy your food vlogs. I moved here a few years back from Aussie and work in south Auckland....im always looking for new places to try that aren't the usual fast food chain. Locals always know the best spots!

      @@janquarrie ok I haven't been to Victoria yet but I know of a good spot here in Sydney for a good fish and chips meal. Its at Manly Beach at the ferry terminal.

    Lmao,listen well peeps,Lu Sipi,Lu Pulu masima which is known to ppl as brisket or povi masima and Lu moa,Lu ika and Lu kapa pulu which is corned beef in a can,are ALL TONGAN😊😊😊😊 I’m 52 yrs old and have been eating these Lu’s,otherwise known as Taro leaves to many,since I’ve been a young child❤😊.

      Taro leaves are so delicious, we can only eat it when family make it at a special occasion or buy it in Mangere or Otara whenever we visit Auckland! I might have to head back up the line to get some lol
