I like how that one alarm has been unchanged for many decades. How did you know it dated back to 1985?

I've picked it up from others that this current set-up was installed around then, and given that the alarm seems original, I can be pretty sure it's from then.

Alarms nowadays hardly last 2 years

the tone has changed slightly and the high alarm was only placed there from an old on back in 2012
