Absolutely saludo ako sayo......knowing na marami tayong kapwa pilipinong mapadpad lang sa ibang lugar or bansa...wala ng paki alam sa pinga galingan. Minsan sila pa mismo ang nag mamaliit dito. Hindi katulad mo....marunong lumingon sa root country mo.Mabuhay!

    maraming ng dayuhan ay lumilipat na sa atin bansa. lalo na nasa probinsya or outside Manila area. Fresh air, nice and serene beaches, they love our hospitality, they are amused seeing many Filipinos love to smile maski mahirao karamihan ng ating less fortunate kababayan and above all...their us$$$ and euros or British pounds goes a long long way if they spend their money here at murang mura para sa kanila na manirahan sa Pinas.

      vino peroni hes bias and i am somewhat biased too. Philippines is poverty stricken, corrupted government and businesses that are manipulated by big families and gangsters. Culture wise though, it is a good country to be happy. The people there are humans too but are more content with what they have. Should i also mention the "untouched" provinces and beaches?

    • @pagsanhanm
      @pagsanhanm 10 років тому

    "Foreign by birth, Pinoy by choice" I kind of understand this. I have an obsession with the Philippines and have many Filipino friends. Many of them have said to me that I'm Pinay at heart regardless of my nationality/ancestry/etc. A lot of Filipinos seem to really like the idea that a foreigner is so interested in their culture. Others accuse me of hating my own race and trying to be something I'm not. Personally I'm very proud to love your country, and I hope I'm welcome there when I visit...

      ahron cuizon exactly the kind of mentality that stops Filipinos from improving their country. Take a lot at South Korea, do you think rebuilding their nation was possible without that pride? It only took 50 years to get where they are now.

    • @MeowMeow202
      @MeowMeow202 3 роки тому

      So many reasons why... let’s look at the govt - not perfect, corrupt, steal and line their pockets with tax payers money. Look at the people - frustrated with govt, not happy with lack of opportunities. No pride in being Pinoy because of so many reasons but mainly it’s the frustration of not being able to make it, so they leave. They compare their new home country with old one, but the call for home is very strong I believe. Foreigners come and stay because they have the means or the money to do so. It starts with people and the government working together like other people have commented re South Korea’s success. I would love to go back home 😢

    Pasensiya na. :(( huhu
    Pero oo nga, kung tingnan mo naman, hopefully hindi lang mga dayuhang gaya niya ang makakapansin sa sariling worth natin as pinoys. At sana hindi lang dayuhang gaya niya ang magkakaroon ng determinasyong manirahan sa pilipinas para magsimula ng pagbabago't tulungan ang isa't-isa. Nakakataba ng puso. If a foreign guy like him was able to think like that and help us pinoys, how much more sana na tayo din sa sarili nating bansa. :)

    The Philippines is a nice country to live in but Filipinos are convinced foreigners have tons of money and a desire to give it away to anybody that asks for it.
    I am married to a Filipino girl but finding the one that was not a leach was very difficult.

    • @joeldelica8706
      @joeldelica8706 4 роки тому +1

      You're mixing with the wrong type of pinoys, sir. At the risk of sounding "snobbish". The middle middle to the upper class will not be thinking of "leeching" any foreigners money when they encounter them. Unless perhaps you're a Saudi Prince.

    • @MeowMeow202

      Funny my mum’s partner who is German, is the leech! His family thought, upon meeting my Filipino mother, is that she is the one taking his money, when in fact, the German person is spending it on drugs and is a little tight-fisted. But anyway, I kicked him out of my mum’s house because I own it, & takes 50% of my mum’s business earnings which mum started herself (I told her to hire actual employees). Doesn’t change my opinion on Germans, it’s just one person. I guess every culture has a rotten tomato/black sheep. But I know what you mean, you were swindled and that leaves a foul taste. Glad you met a good person (regardless of ethnicity).

      Dont ask the govt what can it do for you. Ask yourself what can you do for your country.

    The fellow is a citizen of the Philippines by birth just like my child would be. Just takes a trip to the embassy in NYC.

    Akala ko ba Naturalized Filipino? E Filipino pala ang nanay nya, that guy DID NOT undergo the naturalization process as stated in the constitution. He is considered a natural born Filipino since one of his parents is Pinoy despite him being born abroad. Ang daming Fil-Ams, Fil-Euros, Fil-Aussies etc. na kagaya nya who have DUAL CITIZENSHIP. The perfect example of a Naturalized Filipino is MARCUS DOUTHIT (No Filipino blood, born and raised abroad). Medyo misleading yung title!
