:) Yes I do Robert :) This is one of my favorite songs Waylon did!! Thank you so much for all your lovely comments! I so much appreciate them!! I'll try to comment on all eventually :) ~Marianne...
Very nice video, just one correction. The song is not from Dreaming my Dreams. The song actually was on the Macintosh and T. J. soundtrack. Macintosh and T. J. was the last movie Roy Rogers ever made.
Thank you so much for your kind comment, I do so appreciate that. Yes I did mention it below the video at the time. I took the song from the Dreaming my Dreams CD as I don't know how to copy it from the Macintosh and T.J. vinyl album, but rest assured that that album too is in my Waylon vinyl albums collection. I am just too old to learn new computer technology!!! 😉I enjoyed your kindness though, thank you!! Marianne...
Thank you Jessi...I can't change the title on the video but wrote the correction in the description!! Of course a true Waylon fan would know it's from Mackintosh & T.J. :) :)
Back when Country songs told a story made you feel something in your soul god bless singers like Waylon last of a breed
this is arguably the best Waylon song ever....
My father wrote this song with Jack Routh. It’s about a cowboy my dad knew who lived across the road from where he grew up in Oklahoma.
Thank you, I added their names to the details...Love the song!!!

Waylon's Signature sound. Strong bass and Mooney's steel guitar...perfect!
On a search for one's soul, no better companion than Waylon's songs and this is one of the closest to Waylon's own soul as well.
