Man, this just brought me back to the first time I beat FF8 as a kid, watching that montage at the end of the game while this played in the background. That's the best thing about a memorable song -- when you can hear it and it just INSTANTLY brings you back to a moment that you associate with it and the feelings you had.
Agreed. Saying goodbye to the wife, with his daughter waiting for him. Squall and Rinoa on the balcony, with Squall having a genuine smile on his face. I enjoyed this game so much, I actually showed up to a couple of anime conventions dressed up as Squall. I also have a gunblade on my wall.
This takes me back... Laguna... Squall and Rinoa... and this at the end credits. I cried when this adventure came to an end, still have strong emotions to this song. Thank you for this brilliant version of it! Time to dust off the old game I think!

I can't believe I somehow missed the notification for this one getting uploaded. TT_TT. The song is so beautiful, and that solo in the middle made me tear up. And, more so than with the scene in Ragnarok with Squall and Rinoa, every time I hear this song I always imagine Julia singing it while waiting for Laguna's return even when he never did. A very bittersweet song of love, but so much more beautiful because of it. And you've captured all those feelings not just with the vocals, but also the instruments. I'll be listening to this a lot for a while and you can be sure I'll be ordering the new album soon.

For some reason, this is the song. This is the song that makes me cry every time I listen to it. I don't even really like love songs. Maybe it's because this song isn't a garden variety love song. It's not just a confession of attraction or affection. It's also a lament of missed opportunities. It's a sentiment of longing for a life that can never be because the chance was lost, now relegated to the realm of nostalgia and fantasy. And I think that feeling is just universally relatable, whether it's a reminiscence of a lost romance, or merely regret over squandered opportunities. This song is much more than it appears on the surface. It communicates so much about the human condition, and that's what makes it one of the most beautiful songs ever written. You did such an amazing job with this cover. :)

@@chocobobandofficial Hell yes I did notice and a lot more :D 4K allows you to almost see the skin texture at more detailed levels than in real life :P Also the lighting and colours dominant on the scene is amazing, the red calling out to passion which is the center theme on the song, with the yellow lights providing a warm aura throughout all the performance, it is brilliant! :D I can't see what you guys will do next!
