I've been poked and called names all my life not from a disproportionate power status, but by peers, and not because of a disproportionate reaction, but a disproportionate lack of reaction, simply because I never wanted to take part in such physical harassment and verbal abuse.
It's hard to say it would be bullying but I became somewhat depressed, somewhat anxious with people which made me become independent and isolate from others to remove that anxiety. All that because I feel all of the people closest to me reject my personality.
edit: come to think of it I was often ganged up on so I guess it qualified as bullying

Depressed, anxious and dependent, not independent.

Bullies and victims are created by a parental hierarchy of low emotional intelligence, and emotional chaos.
Parents who make parenting about their personal emotional agendas (likes vs dislikes) cause children to reduce themselves to codependent characters in their parents' unconscious emotional worlds. These children become bullies and victims because they have been conditioned to have blindspots, behavior patterns, and weaknesses for their parents that they will unconsciously act out.
Whereas, children who are listened to and spoken to with consideration of their emotions and concerns become able to consciously manage, distinguish, and predict human behavior. Hence they do not act out or enable an unconscious emotional world of polarizations and power struggles.

Right they are taught too much disagreeableness, (Emotional Intelligence is not real it's agreeableness). So to not bully and to not be a victim you need a balance of both.

@@Persion4786 emotional intelligence is the ability to authentically translate emotional communication into conscious distinctions, concerns, and causal links.
Jordan says emotional intelligence is just agreeableness because his emotions are run by the decisions of a dependent boy agreeing with his father's feelings. (Rule 5)

@@Mike_Lennox I don't know about that last bit but the other reason is that we know first of all that agreeableness is real, which is compassion and empathy, while EQ is literally the same thing only twisted to sound like intelligence. If you disagree with me you have low emotional intelligence ;)

Thanks for honoring my freedom of speech.
I suggest that Jordan doesn't even realize that he is a bully to those who are transgender.
Example ... this is what the psychologist Jordan Peterson perceives is his version of truth. “Gender identity and gender expression are not valid ideas. They are not true. There is no evidence for it. I don’t know what the options are, if you don’t identify as a man or a woman. There is an idea that there’s a gender section. I think that is an ill-informed opinion. Gender identity and sexual orientation are the same thing. I don’t believe these people, these terms, stand for good things. I think these people use these terms as a pretense that they stand for good things; as a pretense for them to carry on their nefarious activities.”
. In January Jordan claimed on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast that being transgender is a result of a “social contagion” and similar to “satanic ritual abuse,” and suggested that acceptance of the trans community is a sign that “civilization’s collapsing.”

You need to ask yourself the question, "Is it bullying if he's correct?" If yes, then you're not living in reality, and if no, then you REALLY need to decide whether you know more about this topic then an expert in this field, who's at least a full standard deviation in IQ smarter than most of us.

@@aarondimoff5180 Do YOU believe that Jordan is correct when he says that being transgender is NOT as real to those people as being heterosexual is real to a heterosexual?
Are you SIDING with Jordan on this subject.
And I suggest you keep in mind that Dr. Phil ... the OTHER psychologist disagrees with Jordan ... so who do YOU believe is telling the truth?
This is what the psychologist Phil McGraw perceives is his version of truth. … “Cleveland Clinic did a study on transgender brains, and when they did the study, they found that the brains of transgender people, their brain is actually more similar to the gender they identify with, than the gender they were assigned at birth. There is an actual brain difference. That is a neurological fact. There are fifty years of empirical evidence here. And there are distinct differences in the transgender brain versus the non-transgender brain.”

@@aarondimoff5180Jordan is not a bully, but the reason he is not has nothing to do with whether he is right, but rather with the fact that he does not disproportionately use his power (media for example) against trans people.

Ive never been bullied the problem is nowadays bullies can bully anonymously behind a screen and inflict real life damage and there is nothing you can do about it unless you are the CIA.

If people were not allowed to use pseudonyms, they would have to use their own real names or not post at all.
They hide their nastiness behind fake names ... because they don't want others to know that they could possibly BE that nasty.
