You can get the extractor for $120, an air hose and switch the end to hook up to water for around $30. And if you already have a shop vac you’re set for just at $150.

Don’t forget folks, Ridgid offers a LIFETIME WARRANTY on their products. Talk about “putting your money where your mouth is” and “value”. Definitely both in my opinion. Wasn’t aware of the kit that could be purchased to make any vacuum an extractor. That’s awesome as the extractor I have is almost 30 years old and I think I may need a new one.

Commented on the last one. For the price, great idea. For the mobility great idea. But, if you've got the money to spend and your clients come to you, a really nice high end steam extractor is going to blow that out of the water. For double or maybe triple the price admittedly. (Maybe even more depending on how deep your pockets are.) However, this is a situation where your tools need to fit the kind of work you do. Seriously good idea though, looks like it works wonderfully.

Lol.. it doesn't do the exact same thing but it will get u the exact same results.. yes its gonna take lil more elbow grease and takes longer but I have used just a vacuum and spray bottle with whatever cleaner you prefer . I just spray my cleaner on and let it sit for couple mins, agitate it lil bit, take a water bottle and poke tiny holes in lid and I squeeze water in carpet or seats and come right behind it and vacuum and it will pull the dirt right outta there... :) You may have to go over it 2 or 3 times depending on how dirty it is I could get great results...,

Actually the aqua pro vac is more powerful. Your 5hp shop vac has a 5 amp motor where the aqua pro has a 5.5 amp motor. Also if you are running off 120 you aren’t getting the full 5 hp as 120 isn’t strong enough to run a 5hp motor to its full power.

its a great starter, but you cant sustain a real detail business with it because it is too slow/small, not just in capacity but in the nozzle size. Detail geek may swear by it, but he also talks about 14 hour long details, great for content but not a detail business. The aqua pro mentioned can cover the same area in half the time, not including multiple passes (since it has higher output you need only one pass usually).

a better head then this one with metal reinforcing on ebay is 10 pounds. and if you have a 40 pounds wet and dry vacuum you have a way better cleaning machine then this one. Because the 2000w wet and dry vacuum is superior to this toy.

I finally got everything for mine too and I built it I'm excited to use it to clean the car now with my 5.0 hp and 16 gal shop vac oh I actually used a new vac hose separate from the original one the vac uses so vac first then extract too and just swap hoses

@@OneandOnly99 oh also... A smidge expensive but I'm pretty sure it was because of the stuff I bought for it to fit my vac because I had to get a 2 in hose and that neck down part too. The most expensive part at least to me that I had already was the water supply line or the air hose for it. I bought it like 3 years ago but never used it and used it for that it's different from the one he used but I couldn't find one like that.

Not at all. Maybe aquapro is but no expensive one is lol. The bissel one you cannot use it unless you have the bristle thing. That shits terrible and have to out into the upholstery. A expensive one can just be put onto it and it'll work the same as how he has to push way down.

Hook it up to your hot water heater in the garage. Be sure to set it so you don’t burn yourself. If the cleaning solution is right hot water isn’t required.
