@@ddunfuh9239yeah they got fused with city states more or less to create “free people” . You can supposedly to things to gain their support like with suzarian buffs or they can become enemies and act like barbarians. TLDR basically civ7 is revamped barbarian clans mode 2.0
It will need more than these skits to do that, in fact the opposite. Now that there are no more builders, it makes me even more reluctant to buy this. They seem to have jumped the shark on what they want to do with Civ VII, yet the leader graphics suck. I have been a paying Civver since Civ II, and the original MS-DOS Colonization but they've lost me. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Oh man that outtro music at 3:01 was such a blast from the past. I remember the first time I used a rock band in Civ 6. Though yall missed a golden opportunity to make it the rock band music for the band that immediately fails. It's too distinctive and could be a perfect punchline

Well, at least in the somewhat distant future they have "workers" (Beyond Earth), so I guess those who leave earth get their old jobs back (under a different title).

Civilization isn't Paradox unfortunately... I don't think Firaxis even paid for this video. You could say the video was a bit of a roast, but Paradox would have paid anyway!
Notice how the 2 previous sketches about workers/builders from V and VI started with a shot of a worker plowing the fields ? That's not the case anymore, because they're being laid off.
I think itll be terrible simply because they've not told us what the replacement will be, If the marketing is so bad as to not tell players whats happening and their goal is to just shanghai people with the promises then maybe itll be a good cash cow.
jokes aside I'm not sad to see them go, civilians don't exactly form units of builders and get bussed around. The population builds itself, so this makes more sense to me.

Well it's pretty rare that anyone did rescue them in Cheeseland anyway. I mean whenever the Archers or the "Guy with a sword" moved too close to the area; the Barbarians would just leave. They were sneaky like that.
I don't like how Civ is going, civ 6's tile interaction system was so convoluted you need a plugin to plan out tile placements like 60 turns in advance just not a fan of that tedium, takes away from the empire building to focus on like 3 cities and no civ 7 is leaning even harder into that
