Thanks for the update! Having a strong Godly support system is great in a broken world we live in. We have the future of a new body with no negative affects in Christ!
Thanks for the update Steve. Take care, recharge your batteries and spend time with your family through the holidays. Look forward to see you back in the New Year.
I really feel for you and your back. Backs can be really painful. You and your family are in my prayers. There's no shame in growing older and having more pains. So many folks don't get the honor of growing older. And, you're in good company. Paul was troubled by some type of problem and looked at what he accomplished. Thanks for the update, and I hope you have a great Christmas!
I'm a stay at home dad too. I know the feeling all too well. Funny thing is my back was hurt last week as well. Don't worry. We'll be waiting patiently when you're ready to continue. Blessings to you and your family. Have a wonderful Christmas celebration of our Great Saviors birth!
Thanks for the update, sir. Glad to see you're improved enough to return to the chair. Looking forward to continuing your deep dive into Galations next year. The Shannon clan continues to pray daily for your continued improvement. Enjoy this time off with your family. Merry Christmas and God bless you, brother.
Sorry to hear that you have had such a painful time. But you are right about having the kids pick things up for you. The back muscle does take time to heal. Did you get a muscle relaxer prescription to help prevent the muscle from contracting harshly?? Prayers 🙏
Our church is really big on small group ministry. I fell into a great men's (early morning) bible group. I would defiantly recommend this as it helps build friendship and some great mentorship, as well as strengthening your connection with your church.
Lots has been considered in the last 3 weeks. Unfortunately the pain is significant enough I can’t really spend much time reading or studying. That does however leave lots of room for prayer.
I imagine training in gear, group drills with telephone poles being lifted and thrown, helo or track ops.... yeah you're used up. Stud days over; hit the books plenty, eat good but not too good, accept and try to enjoy the retirement. Also playstation.
Definitely glad to see that you are on the mend, and that you have such a great support system with your local church.

Yes!! Love my brothers and sisters and super excited about my “new body” someday…hopefully far in the future. To live is Christ!!

Not really. Just Advil and Tylenol. But we’re doing much better today. 💯 soon hopefully

So important!!
You might consider “thanking the Lord” for some “time off” from you desire to “forge ahead”. Rest is good. And He is ALL-WISE!!

Yeah. Used up. Lol. You can say that again. But like you said. I go to battle with books and The Word now! Much lighter and eternally effective.
Bent over to pick something up? You mean you didn’t do it by sneezing too hard 😂? (I’ve done that)
Man. I had to sneeze this week a few times. It was bad. BAD. 🤦🏻♂️
@@ClaimingChristianity when I had my shunt replaced, coughing was really bad because I had a few staples in my stomach.
Oh man!!!! That’s horrible.
