Damn. Howard was joking about Letterman "banging a bunch of chicks" & it was around this time Dave was cheating on his baby momma with the Late Show interns. Was someone at the Stern show the person who tried blackmailing Dave?!?!🤔
It's so sleazy how whenever someone gigantically famous comes in Fred and Artie are told to keep the talk to a minimum because they're not the big stars like Howard and Robin are
It's funny that you would think they were told specifically "shut up, the real talent is here," rather than observing literally what goes on in this and other episodes of the same decade. Fred and Artie never have anything to contribute that doesn't pertain to what Howard had already said...the school of radio improv they were NOT.
It’s amazing… Evil Dave sounds more like on-air Real Dave where Real off-air Dave doesn’t sound much like on-air Dave/Evil Dave at all.
alright you.
Letterman does a really good impersonation of Evil Dave here!
love dave and howard
I feel like they were the best of friends
Hahaha howard says hes done in 2 years.. Almost 20 yrs later hes still cashing them check

Come on dude, it’s Letterman, a VERY special guest. If you had a show, and Letterman went on, you’d want to impress too.
This isnt Dave Letterman. He looks nothing like edgar winter.
