You have to be pissed off to win or to be a champion look at Jeremy McGrath back in his day everybody thought he was an asshole can’t be friends if you want to win training with each other also is a big problem in our industry I know everybody wants to be friends and happy happy joy joy but You can’t be better than the rest if they see your game that’s why I believe we haven’t had any stand out people besides Eli Tomac who pretty much trains by himself not to say he doesn’t train with star Yamaha team but majority of his career his dad and himself

"The Zone" looks miserable when u aren't winning, and since deano wasn't ever battling for the podium at ktm, i'm sure whatever coop was doing looked like hell. BUT, back in 2011 other ppl from the outside prob said deano looked "miserable" winning a PC-when deano may have been having a blast, just like coop may have been.

I met dean when he started coming out here from Canada, I love his family and I remember Andy getting on his ass when we were at world minis lol Andy's a tough SOB. He really pushed dean and I think it paid off for sure

Like the comment below, yes he can go fast he is a pro, but he is the luckiest pro Knowing his many short comings , ie, only being able to ride one brand well, not being able to ride outdoors well, and the big one can't ride SX whoops . Lucky to even have 1 title.

He is know for being race crafty. He never turns the fastest laps… he is the slowest rider to have won a 250/450 title going back to 1990
@@IvarEriksson83 maybe youre the one who should go back. Dude was nasty fast on a 250, and there are plenty of night where he rode uncontested, or came from behind and won based on speed. Only one being emotional are the people too busy hating coop to give him the credit he deserves
@@Boosted97GTP I clearly stated 250 2 stroke/450 4 stroke class not the lites class 125/250 4 stroke. It means nothing to be fast in the lites class. Its about the premier class which is 450. Numbers don’t lie nor do lap times… Cooper was the luckiest rider to win his two championships…. The best thing about Cooper’s riding style Is its consistent… but he is not going to turn a hot lap… slow and steady is cooper
