Anyone that thinks being a "top 10 guy" isnt one hell of an achievement has shit for brains. 90% of dirt bike fans would struggle to even ride a lap of a Supercross track, let a lone qualify into an LCQ. This guy is a class act and seems to have his head on straight. Realizing the entertainment aspect of this "sport" and positioning himself to capitalize on his natural personality demonstrates just how smart he is. Well done Deano. You deserve everything you've achieved.

Dean bar none has been my favorite rider. Always bummed he would crash our but I thought he had that old 90s Supercross/motocross vibes. Definitely is a podium rider when he can keep the tires up, haha.
For me it's just like combat sports, I like styles more than who the champ is. That's why I love love that JA is back on one.

I agree. That’s why barcia is good for the sport. He brings a lot of drama. Yeah for fans that understand the sport it sucks when he takes dudes out. That’s not good racing. But I really think the drama is good.

100% agree with there conversation. There needs to be more emphasis on the rest of the top 10 to 15 riders for fuck sake there the best in the world and would flog any rider in a state event or most other countries. This comes back to the commentators and tv coverage as well there the front line of this and they need to make the effort to show more of those guys well. And the more guys in the line light the more they will start to show there real self so the do stand out a bit. 👍

UFC and Motocross/SuperCross are very different sports especially when it comes to shit talking and what's said/done leading up to the fight. But do agree with him that the sport needs some better personalities, be more mainstream & shown on TV like other professional sports are & also advertised better so more people get interested in and actually watch each race. It'd be cool to see some diff races, track set ups & locations.. none will probably happen lol but it'd be awesome if it did for the sport, race teams, riders, sponsors & the fans.
A great contrast is Ken Block and Barcia, Ken is an amazing driver and is painfully bad talking on camera XD Barcia lives for the cam

McGrath, Hannah, Ricky Johnson were alpha males with so much confidence that is was brill to watch, when they lost people were cheering, when they won they were cheering, it’s the hustler in the pool hall syndrome, most people want to watch them lose, but they mostly win and the ones watching are just amazed at the skill !
Well said you named the correct riders Mc was on his own basically, RJ was my favourite but watching Hanna when I was younger his style was so wondefull to watch growing up

Met Anderson at Arlington. Had a team fried shirt/beanie on. I smelt like a grow house and was hammered. He talked to me like a bro. Someone at the track. Dungey and Villopoto had zero personality when they were racing. It was so boring to watch their same old answers to the same questions. Anderson shows some personality, Roczen did, and deano always has been a great personality.
