Im a bit late to this VOD, but i wanna give a few inputs as this is one of the best Hololive concerts imo.
So essentially Polka went "It is MY birthday event so you're gonna sing FOR ME'" and she used it to highlight other members of the company.
She made them sing songs that were outside of their comfort zone and she thought would highlight their singing in a different way. Towa even tweeted beforehand that she was very nervous about the songs she gave her.
Polka is the type who would rather lift her friends up , than shine alone. There was a case where Nene felt REALLY on the low end mentally and Polka drove to her house and dragged her to the hospital.
