Pan cars were always my favorite, even for the street. Can't beat the simplicity of a proper 2wd design and the bodies in my opinion are the best. They're also fun to tune with changes easily noticed. I prefer 1/10 scale size but the 12's were always the fastest and the most skilled, most knowledgeable drivers were always the 1/12th guys. These things used to be magic and in the 90's here in Florida, there were several tracks within a two hour radius. Lame ass video games were for rainy days.

@@SpaceCoastStreetRippers Im a big fan of pan cars too. They are simple and requires very little setup to drive well. Always a great time running these on a proper race track. 1/12 modified class is crazy fast.. drivers of that class must have super human reflexes. 😂

can the diff handle getting dirt in there?

@@turretbarrage2707 probably not. Best to run this on a smooth and clean race track.👌

It takes 5 seconds to feel if the diff needs service and only a few minutes to actually do it. The diff is the heart of a pan car.. Anyone even half serious will accumulate spare diff parts in no time flat. So simple and fun. I figure its only because of cost and the economy that they're not more popular. Pan cars were always niche, but waaaay more popular when this country had a larger, MUCH smarter middle class. There used to be more of everything.

It is a great looking car. I love the livery on it but the decals look like they are horrible to put on! Going over the big fenders I am sure was a challenge and a half to get them on and line everything up!

@@AddamsPlayground Thanks Addam! Yes, this is one of the trickiest decal applications I have ever attempted. Not for the faint hearted for sure. The soapy water technique helps but even so, its hard to get it to wrap around the curved arches without any noticeable creases. Using a hair dryer doesn’t help all that much..

      Devine looking car Sean.
I thought exactly the same as Addam regarding the decals, but it looks as though you pulled them off perfectly!
      Great job mate!
