Like I said the 32 is one of the easier cars to chop.... cutting the roof off later models is a bit more complicated because the pillars are in an angle....but that's the fun, to figure ou the best way to do it... anyway thanks for stopping by...
Awesome detail in your roof chop. I have been tempted to do more roof chops but I find it is so diffuclt to get the results I am looking for. I look forward to seeing more of this one when it is completed. Thanks for what you do.
I have never chopped a top, cut them off. Lol Love the Alternator, looks more like the newer ones today's cars have. Need to remember how to do that. I like making little things like that, shocks, mufflers, alternator brackets, the little things that get lost to the carpet monster or did not come with the kit like break boosters and master cylinders... 😁 Thanks and glad to see you back! Hey Gary, thanks for the tutorial on how you like to do a chop! Not sure if you’re going to cover it as your build progresses but what do you do to adjust the glass for the car? The rear shouldn’t be much of a problem but the windshield might be a bit more complicated. I’m going to be starting this same kit and I’d planned on chopping it 3-4 scale inches (about 3-4mm) so I was trying to anticipate problems beforehand. Thanks for the great videos!
That's a very helpful video as to how you chop a top. I'm sure these things can get pretty complicated. Thank you for sharing.

Nice chopping of the top Gary, like how you make the new joint look seamless 👍
Nicely done Gary, you made it look easy, I thought the front pillars would be off by more and you would need to section the roof.
Thank you Steve
