- Terrifier star David Howard Thornton and writer/director Damien Leone gave a panel at New Jersey Horror Con September 2022 to talk about the original film and the upcoming sequel, Terrifier 2. Note: During the panel, they talk about the exclusive clip they will be showing. That clip is not included in this video at the request of the panelists.
David Howard Thornton is Art the Clown, the whimsical killer who kills with a smile in Terrifier and will be reprising his role for Terrifier 2. He is also known for his roles in Gotham, The Dark Offerings, Alma’s Way, The Exigency, Nightwing: Escalation, and The Bravest Knight.
Damien Leone wrote, directed, and produced Terrifier and also the upcoming Terrifier 2. He is also known for Frankenstein vs. the Mummy and All Hallow’s Eve. He is also a special effects artist who not only worked on the Terrifier movies, but Laugh Killer Laugh, Joe’s War, Cole Complex, and Zenith.

@@PRHILL9696 Terrifier 2 is better in every way. There isn’t anything in the first one that comes close to as good as the new one. The new one has better characters and acting, better kills, an actual story with lots more set up for the next one, better score, and more. The first one was ok, the second one is great. And the final girl is one of the best in modern horror.
To anyone who hasn't seen Terrifier 2 yet. It's absolutely amazing. You need to see it ASAP

My son turned me on to this franchise over Halloween weekend. In less deft hands, it would have just been gross. But, I'm absolutely obsessed with this story. The effects and characterization were just mwahh! (chef's kiss)

Like most of european I discovered Damien Leon's univers by Terrifier 2, but the first one is so pure. I loved Terrifier 2, but became fan after watching Terrifer.

Where are you located? I know its opening up in a few more countries soon. Id recommend if you can seeing it in theaters or buying on physical media for these guys that spent like a quarter mil (practically nothing in movie terms), to bring such a new classic to everyone! Saw it twice in theaters and will buy it on blu when its out because i want more movies like this!!! Thank you for your time

Paul Wiley did such an amazing job with the score. Boy harsher, the midnight as well. The audio in these movies are just as good as the visuals.

As I see, David, apart from being a well-known actor by playing Art the Clown, would be a perfect Joker. Does anybody else believe that?
He did it! If hollywood suits (real life creeps) give him the opportunity, he put in the grave, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix interpretations.

This guy could create his own cinematic universe. All Hallow's Eve (1 & 2), Frankenstein vs. The Mummy, Terrifier (1 & 2)...I always wished we had a slasher movie shared universe.

I was blown away when I saw Terrifier was on Netflix. I was like WHAT thhey managed to get like a HARD 18+ gore porn movie on Netflix
For me, I'm not so keen on the hardcore sadism and gore - just personal preference, but I still really liked Terrifier, especially 2. Largely because of the performance. Art is a new icon, but that for me is because of the acting of the man in the suit. I actually think I prefer it to Robert England as Kruger, no shade to England.
A certain look that he does when he indicates he's about to kill, waving a knife exactly as if he's excited to give someone a present. It's like the character is a genuine clown, but somewhere along the way he confused joy with pain. It's like he's just trying to spread joy but he does so through suffering. Completely magnetic and mesmerizing.
They seem so humble and kind. They believe in their work and they respect the material. Just watched the movie, so good!

I love the first one a lot as we do NOT need character development that is boring as hell nobody cares! All we need is Art and killing. and the 2nd one is good as well but too many dull parts.
