Yes, would love to see more succulent hauls. I would like to see plants that do well in East County. I’m trying to help a friend who has a big property that needs lots of work.
HI Laura and Team DFS! Thank you for your fantastic videos - you're a great teacher! As a preventive measure, how often should the systemic be applied? Twice a year ? Also, can the system be applied as a treatment? I'm having mixed results with insecticidal soap, plus the soap seems to negatively affect the leaves of my succulents, even if I apply in the evening when the sun is down. We are in the L.A. area, and I so appreciate your gardening tips for those of us who are affected by drought and trying to be water-wise. Thank you again and have a great Thanksgiving.
marlavm spring and fall is advised. If your plant is already affected, it is likely a goner. I remove affected plants, before the damage spreads to other specimens in the garden.
Thank you for this tip! I would also like to ask you for your succulent and Cacti tips for rainy season. Will I need to move the in-ground plants or can they ride out natures rain. I live in zone 9B .
Hi Laura, I have an Alluaudia procera and it is cracking from the bottom of the trunk. I have been researching the internet and haven't been able to find a solution for this, thought I would ask you.
Mel P this May be water related. Has your specimen tapped into a regular water source? Rapid growth from an abundance of water or irrigation can cause cracking of the tissue.
Hi im wondering have you ever worked with Aptenia (baby sun rose) i think its part of the iceplant family ( whatever that means🤷♀️) anyway, its taking over my garden but im afraid to cut it back to much because it is beautiful with its tiny flowers and i dont want to kill it. Any advice would be appreciated, love love love your channel. Sincerely Dani from western Australian 😊
My 4year old daughter has been super inspired by your videos aswell, she insisted on making a succulent garden, we used her old tin toy wheelbarrow shes currently re homing lady bugs into it to keep away nasty bugs 😂. Looking forward to seeing more videos 😊

Hi Laura! How do I find out what zone I live in? And do you have a favorite place to get succulents in Orange County?
Hi. Do you use this systemic for agaves only or can i use this for other kinds of succulents too?
Is it toxic? Chemical? Okay for pets?
Can you apply any time of year for Agave snout weevil?
plz tell us the chemical name so people like me from outside U.S know which insecticide to apply.
