I like how the portion for "Faith is for the Transient People": Secret Garden has a somewhat melancholy feel to it. Especially at the beginning. It's always been one of my favorite themes in the series despite Sanae not being a character I care for too much (though I really like Kananko).

The franchise was founded around 1997 with the first touhou game by ZUN in the pc98 device, the windows era started in 2002, as of now there are 17 main games and an upcoming 18th one this year with a few fighting spin off games, the reason the franchise ended up the wait it is being one of THE biggest franchises out there is due to how lax ZUN is with claiming his work, so long as you credit him and don't claim ownership he will not bother you thus THE massive amount of doujin circles making multiple amounts of content be it monetized or not, the fandom is bigger in japan compared to the west and the main 17 games are bullet games also referred to as danmaku or shmup, where the goal is to survive multiple waves of bullet-like projectiles in the screen where the goal is to survive them and manage to win an beat the bosses, another aspect that brought love to the fandom is the music that ZUN makes since the pc98 era, one of the works of his that you most likely heard is ''U.N Owen was her?'' or a remix of it, while when drawing characters he doesn't shine as much, he truly shines with the music his games are well known for with MULTIPLE amazing songs for the bosses and the stages thus the massive amount of vocals and remixes for touhou music out there.
