omfg ive been searching for this for YEARS I heard it just as I was getting into touhou and was obsessed, but didn't think to save it for some reason. spent a while trawling uploads with this art and thought it'd been deleted. youtube waited until id totally forgotten to drop it in my lap
Wow. This video was released today. I think this is the first time I click in a Touhou arrangement music video and it is not actually like 8 years old.
I'll just practice my German, don't mind me. Dieses "song" ist sehr schön. Mag es, weil was langsam und schwarz ist mit was mehr energie hat zusammen gut gehst.
Junko -- When her son got killed by Hou Yi she was eventually purified into becoming vengeance itself. But Hou Yi died, so she instead decides to go after Chang'e, who the woman who loved Hou Yi. Chang'e loved Hou Yi. Hou Yi killed Junkos Son. From Junkos perspective, Chang'e loved/loves the object that took all that was dear for Junko. When we love someone, we are saying we love all about them. Junko and Chang'e are not joined only by Junkos intense hatred for the man that killed her son, but also by love, the love chang'e feels for Hou Yi. Truly quite a story that goes beyond a simple meme "Are you watching, Chang'e ?"
Cool, i've been getting into this theme lately I often wonder what Junko was like before Chang'e and what she'd be like after. Her feelings are pure for Chang'e and she's motivated by those feelings with intense passion. I wonder what she'd do with that passion after she gets what she wants.
People motivated solely by a single thing often don't know what to do after achieving that single goal. Especially for people motivated purely by something negative, like a desire for revenge, that can lead to feeling as if you no longer have any reason to live. Achieving revenge does nothing to heal the wounds that made you want it, after all; and transferring passion you feel for one thing toward another is already something which can be incredibly difficult.
Actually, the Grimoire of Usami touched on this subject a little bit at this point Junko simply is who she is, and she doesn't even remember why she wanted revenge in the first place, she merely participated in the event for the gust of it, because she saw others doing it and joined together with Hecatia.
Once in my life, I want to see a villain do this. Why? To signify that even though they're a villain, they still have their own reasons to fight, and that they're just as determined to fight for those reasons as the heroes.
@@Ponera-Sama Just pointing out that booth Bloodborne and one of the DarkSouls games have quite simmilar moments, won't specify when cause I can only 100% reccommend those games and that'd be spoilers.
@@DarIsANoob Anything is possible when you sincerely put your mind and energy towards it! I feel like it's going to be an epic map if he gets it done. If this ever gets popular, I bet someone would do it anyway. It's a really awesome song
3:05 the piano attempts to resolve from D minor to A major, but the strings go to A minor instead. Somehow I've only just heard it and now it sounds so wrong
What genre is the 1st track? I can feel some DnB even tho the tempo is only 155, there's also some Breakbeat even if there's no breakbeat(kick snare kicksnare break?)? The song gets more and more towards Trance, but the start is really confusing xD (and amazing!) P.S.: sorry if i'm mercilessly butchering music theory! I'm open to learning!
Determining a genre is pretty hard with these kind of songs because they incorporate a lot of different instruments+synths, and even then sometimes it's just up to what you think yourself. Though that doesn't concern music theory, because that deals more with how you create the harmony (The feeling the song is trying to convey).

This song is great! Glad you found it!
There's just something magical in CD music, even if it's converted into a stream, you can always recognize it was ripped from a musical CD.
Amen, 🙏 I thought I'd noticed that too lol, never was quite sure. But glad someone else hears it too 🤟

As soon as it hit 1:04 I freaked out and hit the like button at light speed
Hey past me
when the main character is beaten but gets back up for round two.
When you thought your beat the protagonist but the opening song starts playing in a melancholic way and the protagonist start standing up

I can't read Japanese, but I was wondering, do any of those cd shop links ship to the USA?
It's harder but I believe today you can buy them from Ebay as well, I don't know how to get the exact record this is from though
I know it's late but nowadays CD resellers work with proxy service providers for international shipping. Got some Stack and Eastnewsound CDs that way.
Very synchronized, I say.
