Right on. Learning to trust my gut intuition has been the single most important survival skill I've ever adopted, and I am confident it has saved my life on more than a few occasions. The most commonly cited difficulty people often encounter when initially attempting to perfect the craft is learning how to distinguish between their actual first inclination and their "second guess". This task is often quite frustrating and can seem next to impossible to accomplish, however, it is surprisingly quite easy once you get the hang of it. The key to identifying your initial gut reaction lies within the art of detachment. Learning to detach yourself from the result of your mission and instead focusing on being completely immersed within your present breath is the key to meditation. There are many different yoga and pramanamya exercises you can practice which will help you learn how to instantly go into a state of deep meditation, which ultimately helps you become more efficient at gauging your gut reaction and intuition.
"The teacher said he has mental issues and it's not that big of a deal" This is why serial killers get away with stuff, cuz they have teachers like this.
When that sentence was uttered I exclaimed in confusion, "uhhhh, that could make it an even bigger deal, what are you frigggin' talking about?" Out loud. Believe it or not most people who go on to rape, torture, or take the lives of others, even when that extends to many other's are often times afflicted with "mental health issues". I realize that might be difficult to understand for some people, but it's true. In fact just as surprisingly people of sound mind, composition, & brain chemistry rarely engage in such vile behavior even though the stereotypical "serial killer" is of this type of person.

She should be fired. Totally victim blamed her. His graduation is not her responsibility. It’s his and his parents’. And I wouldn’t say this story is “exaggerated.” My daughter had a girl who harassed her for two years simply because my daughter is the ex gf of her cousin’s now bf. Once the cousin told my daughter that “I’m outside your house” I called the counselor and the sheriff. Haven’t heard from her since. And note, my daughter moved on a long time ago and had a different BF at the time. This cousin was being raised by her aunt, mom is still alive. So that tells me mom was not a very good mom. Also she would follow my daughter on IG and unfollow multiple times, over and over until my daughter blocked her. But like I said, not my daughter’s responsibility for her mental health and being young it’s sometimes hard to gauge dangerous situations. If someone gives you the creeps right of the bat, listen to that intuition.
@@SoCalRegisteredNurse sorry that’s not what I meant. The reason I said exaggerated was because it tipped me off when the girl was describing her looks in the story. I had a miscarriage when i was 19, she was a little girl and throughout life ive seen different psychics who have told me about this beautiful little girl with blonde curly hair who is always next to me, the child they see always fits the age she would be at the time. I lost my dad in 2015. In 2018 i lost my twins, a boy and a girl. I seen a psychic not long after who told me about my oldest daughter. She looked confused for a second and said 'are you supposed to be pregnant right now?' I said yes. She smiled and said 'your dads here, with your twins and your little girl, hes keeping them safe so dont worry' i had never cried so hard in my life. She gave me so much peace in life. Happy birthday!
Omg!!! Over 2.5 hours!!! Yayy thank you very much let's read! Now my night is good. No wait... its GREAT!!
I am happy to hear a few paranormal stories on here. In the live streams, Joel has said he likes reading them.
Why? All paranormal stories are fake. It's such a waste of time.
@@LadyAstarionAncunin fake or really, as long as you enjoy the story, it doesn't really matter. 😉
I listen to your videos at work, LOVE ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS!
You’re spoiling us now LR,as always,TYVM for the excellent stories and the stellar narration.
Am I the only one who puts these on before bed?
I imagine a lot of people do exactly that. I like to fall asleep to scary stories.
I can’t say the same. As much as I love horror stories, I can’t listen to them before going to bed coz they’ll surely be in my dreams. So, I listen to this in the morning while I work 😅
Only way I go to sleep
@@mylapagtalunan3137 same, although I also listen to them when I go to bed
Wish I could marry the man behind this voice :D IDK WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT THESE VIDS TO LISTEN TO!

I usually listen to your stories to go to sleep but tonight since I'm doing an all nighter, it's really helping me out with focusing. Usually to finish up my math 60 hw it takes about 4 hours to finish it but tonight it took me about 2 hours to finish an assignment... which is a great! :D

Imagine how many problems would be solved if the people in the first story were taken seriously and beaten until they act right.
Love the long ones, I listen to these while I work and for me, the longer the better

I’m in costco right now thinks for you nice stories with screaming people
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! I feel your pain.
2 1/2 hours! You're too good to us, Joel. 💜
You should have taken Brandon’s life through self defence. He can’t follow you if he’s dead
I love your voices for different characters! It really adds extra feels to the stories. I listen to your podcasts every night! Keep it up xx
You are a God send. I am doing uni work for my last year. Thank-you so much
Yes! Great start to the week!!
Just what I needed, thanks brother
“Don’t share cigs or blunts with strangers at 4 am” good thing I have something called common sense 😂
Common sense is great. Too many people seem to lack it. They violate the rules of stupid: "Don't go to stupid places, at stupid hours, with stupid people, doing stupid things."-John from Active Self Protection, here on UA-cam. Check out his channel when you get a chance.
@@bassblaster162 checked out his channel b4 it's great. He has tios to save your life with
@@hisheeelijah1482 Yes indeed.
Oh yeah!! I will be listening in the morning while being in Emergency room!

I'm an ✨EmPaTh✨ so I can feel when people stare at me 🙄
Glad I’m on the only one who noticed that 😭😭
One of the most annoying things a person can say
Don't forget "I'm a baby-faced introvert" that then proceeds to confront a stranger LOL ok
Joel is fucking tops!! We get 2 priceless hours of zen. 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤
Your voice acting is top shelf. You capture the unhinged passion perfectly

Let's read literally got me through lockdown, covid itself and now is just a every day thing.... Al the old videos from the very first is for during the day when cleaning and such, the new ones are for while gaming and sleeping.
Appreciate the time and effort you put in to each and every video. Taking time out of your own day to entertain you amazing human!
The 1st two only fans stories were excellent, very educational for the uninitiated out there, and left the listener with empathy -- thank you for sharing.
No, it left this listener with "this girl was a fucking idiot" vibes.
Thank you for your stories I enjoy listening to them .Keep up the Good work you doing
A whole day of doing laundry well spent. Thank you Let's Read 💕
That second woman is really into herself. The guy was obviously ill.
Im soo addicted to this podcasts .I fall asleep to his voice and love the fact that i can picture the story's in my mind without having to look at the phone. Great work in story telling !!!
Excitement!!....Thank you Let's Read ❤️🌟
Wow that Brandon story was crazy! Keep up the good work! 👍😁
bro really wrote in his story “of course, im an empath so i felt him staring” 🤓🤦♂️
And then turned around and said they couldn’t exactly read the lady’s emotions after the situation was resolved… like, bitch I thought you were an empath. You mean you can’t do half of what you claim you can do?
I cringed so hard
Yussss ty 💓
Death ☠️ By SQUAWK.. 🦅
LOL 😆🤣😂😅
That student from PHilippines is from University of Santo Tomas, the first and oldest university in Asia. There's also a headless priest roaming around in the garden, and other scary stuff for real.

Yes he does sometimes throw in some new ones
You just made my sleep great and tomorrow’s gym routines great 👍🏼 thank you 🙏
Just what I needed on a rainy day💜
14:12, those background sound effects gave me really hardcore shivers
I listen to these when I draw and i have never drew so much in my entire life.
The girl in the Brandon story is so self destructively kind
Toooo kindddddd , so green and just slow. She made herself the perfect victim!!
I love Lets Read! Is it just me or the background music is too loud for the narration on this episode?
That ending music 🌺
the best way to start my day!
Ahhh, relaxation time🖤
Oh yeah. More stories
Stoked, thank you.
Found these stories & man I’m hooked😬
Love the video ready 💙💙
Finally something i can listen to while i study on finals thanks cult
I'd like to join this cult you speak of please email me the application. Lmao
That's like the most unrelatable thing i've ever read.
How can you study and listen to stories at the same time? Music is the only thing that doesn't interrupt my focus while studying.
@@kainslegacy666 im the type who cant focus without something in the background so this helps
Liked the ending with the new music but I also love the tweets too
Who else feeding their four legged kids while watching this?
I am, but I'm also washing their water fountains too.
@@feliciahardy9723 cool 😁
Thank you Joel💜
Oh yes indeed! Thank you👍
I came to listen as soon as the vid posted :) .
People can say what they want about psychics, even if they are exaggerating or faking it, i dont care. They give people like me a comfort and some closer during the darkest times in life and im so grateful for that ❤
Brandon sounds like a real keeper. 😂
Thanks for Let's Read....
Be aware everyone, that just because a person claims a story is true DOES NOT MAKE IT SO.
Thank you x it helps me dose off
