I learned French in school as well and knew it pretty well but because I haven't used it for many years, I forgot many words. Is it possible to move to France with just a minimal language knowledge? I know I'll pick it up while I'm there. And wow, you studied in Sorbonne, that's the coolest thing. You're very bright.
So interesting!! And I understand the part where you talked about hating the language. If you have to do to something "professionally" that used to be a sort of passion, it can get tricky!
I love listening to you speak French, reminds me of how I used to sound in high school (bilingual/French immersion school kindergarten to graduation is all in French) I’m from Canada so after I graduated I stopped using the language for a year or two until I got a bilingual job and I’ve lost a lot of my good French prononciation although I’m sure it’ll come back to me once I move or even as I study before moving. It was great to hear your story and I hope to create my own channel to share mine eventually 😁
J'adore tes vidéos et spécialement celle-ci déjà ! Je suis brésilienne et je vais habiter près de Paris dans quelques mois. J'aime bien découvrir ta routine, tes défis et expériences. Gros bisou!
Wow! You are such an independent woman. Starts working at a very young age, travelling to diffrent countries and speaking another language is already a huge achievement. Never stop dreaming indeed.
I enjoyed this video very much. (I was a bit distracted by the speech habit of raising the voice at the end of sentences as if asking a question. But thankfully somewhere around 6:00 min and onward, it disappeared somewhat.)
Nora I am moving to Paris this year and I am terrified about finding an apartment, I’ll study at La Defense. At what suburbia would you recommend me to look for acomodation?
Hi Nora!I really want to study medicine in Sorbonne. Do you have any friends in this degree that could help me out?Btw I really love your videos I ve found them extremely useful.Keep it up!
