Today I'm in the city of Santa Teresa Brazil, This is my first impression of this City in Brazil it's not what I expected .This town in Brasil is also part of the Lapa District area.You have to visit this area.

I think what he did was a great idea too, but like he said, what might work for him might not work for others. Until you open your mouth, depending on how you look and are dress, nobody knows that you are foreign and may not bother you. People always spoke to me assuming I was a native.

My man was right about going to Buzios. It's a town with 20+ beaches, great restaurants and shopping ,and it's beautiful. It's more of a higher end destination. A lot of Argentine tourists go there too, so you will have a mix of Brazilians and Argentinians. Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo are close by and also beautiful.

I miss my family so much bruh. Majority of them are in Brazil and I have a hard time right now to make ends meet. But after coming across these clips of yours it made me feel better. I’m grieving at the moment after 3 losses and it’s been fuckin me up. Whatever you do out in Brazil just always communicate with my people they will always take care of you my boy. The Brazilian people are poplar but at the same time we are people that like to give back more then we like to receive.

You can see the strong portuguese influence there. "Calçada portuguesa" is that rocky pedestrian walk design. Also some buildings.
Buzios is certainly a high end destination. The beaches and restaurants are very nice. It's one of those places that will have you saying to yourself, life is good. A guy mentioned either retiring to Colombia or Brazil. Both places are good and have great looking friendly women. I just found Brazil to be more interesting probably because of the diversity of the different regions.
Brazil is also more convenient for visitors.
A big plus in Brazil's favor for me is that there are also plenty of stuff on the high end level. It's not just favela and hood things to see. Brazil has a strong offering of museums, concerts and high end restaurants. So if you go there and you are a middle class traveler that is ok. But if you have big bucks, Brazil is also for you.
And let's face it, we all hope to hit it big one day when it comes to money.
The Portuguese language, I just love 😘 how they speak. Beautiful languages.
Buzios is not a beach, is a coastal city. Became famous in the 60's thanks to the french actress Brigite Bardot.

@@Czechineffect Its a wonderful place to visit. A lot of foreigners live there for a reason, the beaches are beautiful (I strongly recommend Forno and Azedinha) and the food is good. Only negative aspect worth saying is that some things are a bit more expensive when compared to other places in Brazil.
Amazing vlog brother Czech, felt like I went to Brazil myself, the culture and the people are awesome - a little different from what was taught at Geography Class in college here in the 🇵🇭 - Anyway, looking forward to the follow-up vlogs of the trip bro'!

A fantastic walking tour. Strangely, there appears to be an atmosphere of existential loneliness comparable to that found in the majority of large cities - people going about their daily lives with nothing really meaningful to do or see. However, the layout of the area and the history of Brazil are quite remarkable when you consider how the country and city of Rio de Janeiro came to be. Regardless, it's a pleasure to watch.

@@difference018 Wouldn't it be nice to hear a few "street musicians" sing and play sambas for money? This would be a good place to start. How about an artist doing quick portraits of passersby for a few dollars here and there? Once upon a time, I was in Central Europe, and during the week's midday, there were people from the Andes playing and singing their indigenous music. It "enlivened" an otherwise mundane stroll through a city.

But one thing I noticed which I'm glad you mentioned the last 7 videos had thumbnails that confused the hell out of me(at least) Why? Well I thought they were reclipped/c-roll from the trip to Kenningston P.A. from the first trip then you had a vid of you in Colombia that thumbnail got me confused with this thumbnail until you specified the location by stating it was in Brazil but before that it looked like you had old footage that you wanted to re release or re upload again with edits from P.A., Colombia, maybe because you were busy traveling or getting newer footage and needed some vids to upload in the meantime til you were done editing. That's why I was confused at first. I thought they were throwback joints with added footage. Because it can happen traveling that you lost some portions of the content in the editing process or it's too "real" for UA-cam.

Santa Teresa and Lapa are actually neighborhoods within the city of Rio de janeiro, not Towns or cities themselves. They are located in the centre of the city, close to Centro (downtown). Watching your video took me back to the neighborhood.

I don't want to seem like I'm correcting all that you say, but Santa Teresa is in the city of Rio. It's just a neighborhood like Lapa, Botafogo, Copacabana, Barra da Tijuca etc.. Lapa is a separate neighborhood that's connected to Santa Teresa, but they are different neighborhoods. Sorry to correct. I just want to make sure your viewers understand.

Some tips for Santa Teresa: Parque das Ruínas, eat at Bar do Mineiro (feijoada or pastel de feijão - beans fried dumplings); fancy restaurant option with amazing view: Aprazível, visit Santa Teresa Hotel (you can go in for breakfast or a drink - at the pool or in the Bar dos Descasados, or just walk around. Amy Winehouse stayed in that hotel when in Brazil). Saturday night go for live music: Samba dos Guimarães. Visit Café do Alto for traditional northeast style brunch.

As an American who has lived in Brazil in the late 70s, spent 7 weeks in NE Brazil for college credit I’m curious, what were you expecting?
