my problem is that I don't have creation burnout; it's just that this game is so complex I don't even know where to begin lol
just start by building a simple rescue boat, then maybe a bigger boat, then try some land vehicles like a car to just get around and then maybe make a rescue car
Another way is to focus on the mechanical side of the machines. Because i have noticed that if i have a burnout. I will try to focus on just sterring and motor. And that seems to work as you get a motivational boost from the machine working.
I have extreme perfection and realism syndrom, i cant sleep at night if a creation is not perfect or realistic enough…😅
The best way that i avoid getting tired or losing interest in a build, is by watching youtube videos about the vehicle, or watching stormworks videos on the related topic. Motavation is what you want to keep, seeing another persons creation and how they do things differently can assist in giving motivation. Another way you can have constant motivation is to set a challenge for example; you and a friend having a build challenge, or and argument over what is possible. (I do these things, and that's how I have over 487 hours of play time whilst only owning the game for 3 months.)
DAMN, Thats a lot of hours
@@Mortal_. At this current moment in time as of commenting this I have 524 hours
@@Mortal_. Now I have 585 hours
My personal opnion is
1. Control the size, If you want something done in a short time aim for smaller vehicle.
2. Aim for feature before decorations, the interior/control room dial should be the less prioritised. (For example work for Engine/Control/Crane before interior. Interior require alot of wondering/thinking.
3. Avoid adding stuff outside of your capabilities (Lua screen, complex microcontroller), yeah you will learn alot of stuff but most of your time will be spent on figuring instead on the creation.
4. Build for the thing you will likely to use, not another vehicle sitting on the folder without being used once. Unless you have vehicle for all the categories/needs (Heli, small ship, large ship, car, vtol, plane, etc)
I've stopped making stuff because the devs ruined all my previous creations, I used to love making stuff in this game but I'll never do it again
@bradley9856 it's better than my situation lol, i have all vehicles broken on 1.0 release because i play on simple mode
454ss Gaming & Builds, I love your channel, you are the new MR N Jersey, never stop uploading ❤
Not sure what the RSV part in the rsv atomica stands for but I do know that historically nuclear powered ships had the name "NS" or some variation of that.
wich starter base is good to choose for the campaign?
my problem is that i am not good at it. lol i mean how many other people besides me that play this game cant even get an engine to crank? im willing to bet its just me. i literally just started building a catamaran style ship yesturday that i am calling a "research" vessel. i say it like that because i am not advanced enough to configure actual systems to do anything. the "coolest" part of this build is in the rear deck the floor opens up revealing the ocean with a crane that i intend to build a small sub for that will launch by lowering it through the vessel as opposed to lifting it over. like i said though i am struggling to even get it running. ive had the game for a long time but due to its complexity i struggled to really enjoy it, until the fishing update came out and i got back into it but now im beginning to slow down again because i just cant seem to be "smart enough" to get too advanced with what im doing. i cant even figure out how to get 2 medium engines to fire and run together. i cant even use that large engine because i cant get it to crank at all. every one of my creations has just a single small or medium engine with multiple props.
My problem, I want to do something more advanced and get stuck trying to figure out how to do it then move on.
I can’t imagine building something like this those ships are amazing and well well over my skill level all I can do is make basic steam trains lol
i am third to coment please like, love ur content man
