That is a beautiful pen! One day I would love to have a beautiful pen like this beyond the starter pens. Thankful I have but excited to have a “ special” one that writes like butter. I like the EF and F nibs like you but want a pen to write in calligraphy and pretty script.🙏🏼
I’m so glad you enjoyed. I will certainly share a review/comparison when the M400 arrives. I did gorgeous to mention that the nib is stainless steel. The nib on the M400 will be gold. More details to come. Thanks for watching. Blessings❣️
The marbling turns out to be quite nice on yours! Looking real nice. I would suggest you unscrew the nib and rescrew try to align the nib to the side of the pen with more swirl, so that as you writing, you can enjoy the beautiful pen more! How would you compare this pen with the pilot e95 that you have there?
Great suggestion on improving my view 💙. I was surprised at how similar the weight and hold/grip are to my e95s pens. One is EF and one is M, but the Pelikan M writes like a German nib as compared to the Japanese nib. I absolutely love the lightweight pens and often enjoy them over others. I have made a previous video comparing my Pilot Vanishing Point EF and M pens to the lightweight Pilot EF and M e95s pens. I guess I need to make another comparison video on the e95s and the Pelikan. Thanks so much for watching!
I’m truly impressed with the light weight, the smooth writing nib, piston fill mechanism, and the less than full turn cap release. Aside from all of that, it’s gorgeous! I hope you experience someday soon!
If you want the wedge Diamine bottles Pen Chalet has the empties in stock right now for $3. Goulet has had them in the past but they appear to be out at the moment. You needed to point out the baby bird next to the big bird 😀Stay safe!
Yes, I realize with research, that the finial Pelican design has changed. I’m not versed enough with facts to share as of yet. I really appreciate your comments and supports. They help me immensely!
I told myself I wasn’t going to get any more fountain pens until my birthday in January. I think that was at least 5 pens ago. 😂 OMG! I’ve been wanting that white tortoise shell Pelikan!!! I can’t wait for your unboxing!!!
Thank you, I'm seriously considering this pen, and this was great review!
Thanks for watching. It’s a fabulous smooth writer and comfortable to hold. Pelikan is currently my favorite pen manufacturer.
@@MarcellHobbs I just ordered it, largely based on your video 🙂
@phillewis3108 I’m so excited for you! Enjoy 🖋️💙

Yes, my starter F and EF Lamy and TWSBI pens will have to take a back seat for awhile. I still enjoy the fun of the TWSBI Stub 1.1 mm nibs🥰
Beautiful pen, nice size and weight for my hand! Pelikan will go on my wish list. Thanks for your review.

One of these days I’d like to try a pelikan. I really like how they look. ✒️👍🏻😃

@@MarcellHobbs Thank you! Me too!

😂 Hang in there girl! Even without unboxings, I have so many videos to share! Loving my fountain pens and inks🖋❤️
@@MarcellHobbs I’m trying. I just love fountain pens. They just keep making so many beautiful ones that just call to me!!! 🤣
I totally understand 😍 Right there with you!
I was surprised how light my Pelikan M400 is!
Yes! It looks heavy. I thought Pilot e95s was the lightest fountain pen made! I’m excited to experience the M400!
Great 👍👍👍👍
Love the pen 💜 wait to you hear me pronounce Diamine!!
I’ve heard so many pronunciations for so many products! 😂❤️
