I got my DXP4800 Plus a few days ago. And after about 2 days of using it, I'm pretty happy with it. I managed to move 4.54 TB of files onto it and it was quite a seemless process. Quite responsive and faster than I thought it would be. Even while being limited to a 2.5gb port on my PC.
This is great. Synology (and others) need the competition. Would love to see a Surveillance station type app so I can migrate my useless HomeKit secure video to it. Thanks for the video.
I cannot wait for this to come. I’m not a huge tech guy but I’ve been always wanting a storage device to help keep my photos, videos, and some movies on. Not to mention I can set up my own cloud with it using UGreen’s app, which I would prefer to something like Apple, I’ll be happy as a clam. Hell when I finally get my own router set up I’ll be able to set up my own network storage too. That and being able to buy like, 2 10TB disks for $400 all together is just the icing on the cake here.

Awesome! How are your disks laid out?

Well.... cashed figures is what I waited for!
Actually UGreen has been offering NAS in Mainland China 🇨🇳 for quite a while now.
That’s true, just new to us here in North America!
Nice review. At first I didn’t understand your pronunciation because it sounds like you’re saying “U-Gos” rather then “UG OS” as in UGreen OS.
IM FIRST again !! WHOO WHOOOO!!!
As is tradition!
Shake and bake!
Two minutes in, and the hyperbole already has killed my interest.
