How to quickly weight paint clothing in blender (for VRChat tutorial)

This tutorial was made in blender 3.4.1 and works in all previous versions as well. Let me know if you need any help or want any more blender vrchat specific tutorials

Your method has actually worked better than anything I've tried before. With other methods I had a clipping disaster but now it has no clipping at all no matter how I rotate the armature. Thanks.

when i want to normalize all vertex groups to all groups it doesnt work, i click it but not gets selected, it was working before but now i have that issue, any idea why?

@@malkhazizatiashvili2606 are you using a newer version of blender? I have recently started using 4.1 and I have ran into the same issue. Though the weightpainting was still alright in the end

@@squirrelkind7492 its 4.0 version, after watching this tutorial it worked just fine, but now when i try to do it again it wont allow me to select this option. is it lag? (its ruinning my whole work)

@@squirrelkind7492 i think i get it now, it wont allow to change, if you changed the previous pose form of the character, i did that and the clotheswhere attached to the previous location where characters body part was located (i hope i explained it well)
