@@williamgeds-kharazmi3994 Yes, chewing on gum that has a high sugar content can lead to tooth decay and cavities. However, even chewing on sugar free gum excessively can damage your teeth. Chewing on anything for prolonged periods of time on a regular basis can lead to wearing down of the tooth enamel and lead to changes in your bite alignment. This can cause your molars to shift and give you an overbite. There’s a lot of people that say chewing on sugar free gum can kill bacteria in your mouth and give you a more defined face, but the evidence on that is shaky at best. Plus, It’s obvious this guy is promoting the idea so that he can sell his own brand of gum.

Our ancestors as recently as 100 years ago ate very hard foods, this gum simulates that because the average diet today is soft and full of testosterone-reducing chemicals, creating a bunch of weak-jawed man-children.
So if people say this gum damages teeth, then I guess all our ancestors had horrible teeth... except they didn't, they had way bigger jaws and wider teeth because they didn't eat soft foods with testosterone-reducing chemicals.

Ive seen a lot of comments saying chewing gum will be bad for your teeth due to sugar amounts. Which can be true but is leading many misunderstandings among many, especially those trying to explain sugar is in general is bad for your teeth.
Its a common misconception that sugar plays a large role in causing cavities in ones teeth. This stems from the concept that sugary soda drinks cause teeth to decay due to the high sugar contents. Though sodas do cause tooth decay, it's not the sugar which results in damaged teeth, but the carbonation of such drinks. The theory has been extrapolated in years following of the founding of that theory and the idea that chocolate bars etc containing sugar would too create tooth decay. Firstly, almost all foods in the average human diet including sugars cause a level of tooth decay as bacteria in the mouth output waste in the form of acid which strips enamel on the teeth. So, as this does not dismiss the theory sugar does cause tooth decay, but instead, proves lack of tooth brushing is the leading cause of tooth decay and rather not single causes like consumption of sugary foods. The actual key to good oral health and hygiene is a good brushing regiment which will bring the equilibrium healthy teeth (no net tooth decay). So, if you brush an adequate amount cleaning & removing excess waste from the mouth, in theory, regardless of diet (excluding carbonated drinks etc), your teeth will ON AVERGAGE stay just fine.

      @Zack-999 Рік тому +2

4 SUGAR FREE gums, 2 in the morning or afternoon and 2 at evening or at night for 10-15 mins, 3-4 days a week. You should feel it around the back of the lower jaw where the masseter muscles are, and work both sides evenly for symmetry. If you feel it infront of the year portion where the earhole is, stop doing it for 1-2 days cause it can be the joint and if overworked can cause wear and tear and can prolly cause TMJ or can be really uncomfortable . Thats all.

I see we have a lot of internet orthodontists here all of the sudden spouting their opinions...

  • @SalmanBhallai

I am not an expert in something like that but i just have a question.
Wouldn't it ruin your face's symmetry if we chewed more gum from the one side and lesser on the other side.
The one side would look different than the other.

    2. You want a prominent jawline? Money.(or surgery, which still costs a lot)
    3. Get jacked? For the best outcome you can hire a professional trainer, or a cook to make you meals that give you all the nutritious things you need.
    4. Gym membership? You bet. Money.
    5. Healthy food > junk? Money.
    6. Style? Money.
    7. Status? Money.
    8. Girls, they like rich guys. Money.
    9. Money? Money.
Especially when you live in a country that doesn't have a very strong currency, but you want to buy all the products that you see on social media.

Doctor here. Please don’t do this. You could seriously injure your jaw. The lower jaw (mandible) is attached to your skull by two Temporomandibular joints or TMJ for short on both sides. Such excessive chewing continuously on hard gum can severely damage it. Just lose fat, stay hydrated and don’t mouth breathe.

@@idek4971 bro this is not possible to get a small face and good jawline at the same time specially if you are in your teens or early 20s… cuz if you chew or mew at such age you gonna trigger your bone growth along with your muscle growth that if performed correctly will give you a good jawline with symmetry… but it will also broaden your face Bcz of muscle hypertrophy and bone growth and u can reverse muscle hypertrophy by simply stopping chewing or mewing but u can’t reverse bone growth.. and if your bones are grown and give you broad face then it’s irreversible but yes u can make your face to look smaller if u like small face then u should not put any extra stress on your jaw muscles like excessive chewing food etc and at the same time avoid getting fat on face by avoiding greasy food… at the end I will say don’t hate your broad face etc…. And don’t be that conscious about anything u have cuz nobody is happy on the things they have… so accept yourself and consider it beautiful and unique … and btw broad face with men suits better than small face and many people in the world are desperately wanting to have it so stop being overconcious … have a good day 👍

Chewing hard things may work, but the gum gets too soft unfortunately. Instead you should chew something made of thick rubber, because if you don’t feel any pain, then it’s not going to work. Again not everyone will have the same results, but hard chewing will definitely work even to a small degree.
