Another good ginseng video buddy!!! It would be cool to see you do a video of what it takes to get the best buyer you can get fir your hard earned roots . Im in my first season fir ginseng hunting I got into it late last year but I’m happy with my harvest this year I got around 12 lbs wet it’s on it’s second week of drying now .got a lot of old stuff to : ) I kept my roots stored in a container with the roots on mountain moss I kept the moss mixed in with roots I kept in fridge not frozen just in the veggie part of fridge til time to dry and I put all my roots in the bathtub and I fill with water 4 times each time filling it with me spraying the roots with the shower head to just knock the dirt off I then let them strain and dry then I put them on a sliding glass door screen and put in a walk in cedar closet with just a fan blowing on low .they are on the second week drying and looking nice so now comes the part where I gotta find me a good honest dealer to buy it from me : ) I have a dealer that I promised I would give the first chance but I wanna get the best $ I can out of it so even tho I have my word I would contact this guy first I will do that but I am open to other offers on it ya know what I mean . I wonder how you all do this part of the process? I just want to get the best $ cause it was a lot of work out into getting the sang I have and the $ is for my kids and grand kids Xmas : ) anyway good video man! Be cool to see how you all dry and sale you sang : ) I also wanna throw out there that even tho your growing on your channel you stil ain’t forgot about us guys that watched and love your video from the beginning and you always reply to your comments I think that is awesome man ! Keep doin what ya doin it’s workin fine !!! I wanna see ya kill a big ol wv buck to !! You are welcome to pm me on my Facebook and I got some good private land here in Virginia I can put you on a good deer stand right now ! I missd a nice buck twice 4 days ago and see bear every time I go : ) holler !

YEAH MAN,IM GONNA TAKE EVERYONE ALONG WITH ME WHEN I SELL IT(IF POSSIBLE) DEPENDING ON THE BUYER, EVEN IF THEY DON'T WANT ME TO VIDEO THE TRANSACTION, I'LL SHOW EVERYONE EVERYTHING ELSE. EVERYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE HAS TRIED TO KEEP ME OUT OF THE MOUNTAINS THIS YEAR,I COULD'VE MADE OVER $25,000 NO PROBLEM IF I COULD'VE WENT LIKE I WANTED TO, BUT IM TICKLED TO DEATH FOR WHAT I'VE FOUND. HOPEFULLY NEXT YEAR I CAN GO FULL TIME INTO THE GINSENG BUSINESS, I WANT TO GO OVERSEAS AND LEARN ABOUT EVERYTHING I CAN ABOUT WERE IT EVENTUALLY ENDS UP. THERE AINT BUT A FEW BUYERS ROUND MY AREA, AND THEY ALL LOW BALL YA,I MEAN I UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE A BUISNESS TO RUN,BUT IM GOING TO CUT EVERYONE OUT OF MY WAY,IM DIGGIN, BUYING, AND TAKING TO NEW YORK MYSELF, GET EVERY DOLLAR I CAN, BECAUSE FOR REAL,EVEN THOUGH THERE'S CONFLICT OVER SEAS AND ALL THE TARRIF PROBLEMS, NO MATTER WHAT, 100% WILD MOUNTAIN GINSENG, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A DEMAND FOR IT,NO MATTER WHAT. ALL THE ENERGY DRINKS, SUPPLIMENTS, ETC,CULTIVATED GINSENG FARMS SUPPLY MOST OF THAT STUFF.TRUE VIRGIN WILD SANG,WILL ALWAYS BE SAUGHT AFTER,AND WITHOUT THE DIGGERS (US) THERE IS NO MARKET. UNTIL THE DIGGERS UNDERSTAND THAT WITHOUT US THERE IS NO MARKET, AND THE REALITY IS, WE THE DIGGERS CAN ULTIMATELY SET PRICES IF EACH STATE PULLS TOGETHER. BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, BUT YA GET WHAT IM SAYIN. SERIOUSLY A MAN CAN BECOME VERY WEALTHY FROM GINSENG, AND IF I STAY HEALTHY AND EVERYTHING GOES RIGHT, I'LL NEVER WORK A PUBLIC JOB AGAIN, EVER.

"so even tho I have my word I would contact this guy first I will do that but I am open to other offers " - things like that is the biggest problem in KY and VA. I met many people in Kentucky who don't keep the word. If you gave a word be a man and keep it, if you don't have balls don't give your word.

Get four of five good old roots and cut them into peace’s, then get a bottle of gin, putt roots in and let set for two days. Drink 1/2 shot when you get up and the same before bedtime. When you use up the gin, poor another bottle in and do the same thing again., and again.

One place I've found big roots is the south facing hills. A lot of people think you can't find it on the south facing ridge and it's true that it prefers the shadier side but if there's enough cover it will grow.

This is true, ginseng WILL grow on any mountainside as long as the soil and conditions are right. Some of the biggest roots iv'e ever found were on south or southwest facing mountains. est wishes ans stay safe out there brother.

THERE'S ALOT OF SAND IN THAT MOUNTAIN FOR WHATEVER REASON 🤔
THEN CROSS THE POINT AND BE IN A WHOLE NOTHER TYPE OF DIRT,THEIR WAS A FEW DIFFERENT KINDS OF SOIL AND DIRT MIXTURES IN THE AREA.
DUG SEVERAL WITH OUR HANDS, BUT THAT'S THE BEST SANG WE FOUND LAST YEAR AND THE VERY LAST DAY I DUG. I PLANNED TO GO IN THAT MOUNTAIN FIRST THING THIS SEASON BUT I TELL YA MAN,COVID HAS REALLY REALLY PUT US BEHIND. I MEAN JUST DEALING WITH PRIORITY APPOINTMENTS ETC HAS REALLY PUT ME(US)BEHIND.
AND WE LOST PROBABLY 3 WEEKS OR SO OF DIGGIN LAST YEAR DUE TO THE DROUGHT.
I'M GOING TO TRY AND GET IN THE MOUNTAINS FOR THE LAST MONTH OF DIGGIN, HEALING UP A KNEE INJURY FROM A FISHING TRIP A COUPLE WEEKS AGO AND JUST NOW GETTING BACK TO NORMAL EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES.
I WASN'T ABOUT TO GO TO THE DR OR ER WE TOOK CARE OF IT OURSELVES.
I WOULDN'T GO TO A ER FOR ANYTHING RIGHT NOW UNLESS IT WAS A BIG DEAL EMERGENCY.

Just think how long that ginseng has been there undisturbed! I would almost feel a bit guilty diggin' that sang', but I see you are a responsible ginsenger and only dig the big stuff, leaving the smaller ones, and replanting the seed. That's what it takes to assure the future of this plant. Hope I can find some like this next year, because I think it has all died down for the year here in Tennessee.

We must be brothers from another mother! You preach it man! I love it! Most people don’t have a clue! Everything thing you are saying is 100% true. I would pay money to come dig with you next year! I usually come to Beckley and white water raft each summer for the past 10 years. How anyone gives you a thumbs down blows my mind. Just some dumb shit that would rather be sitting at home with his thumb up his ass instead working hard for that yellow gold! What is the price down there right now? It’s only $600 dry in Indiana right now.

IT BE REALLY HARD TO CULTIVATE SANG UNLESS YOU CAN REALLY PROTECT IT.
AND IT'S LESS THAN WILD SANG,THE CULTIVATED SANG IS IN ALL THE ENERGY DRINKS AND NUTRITION PRODUCTS ETC.

Great roots guys. Hope the prices are up by December and we can make a good pay check. Might be better selling some them roots on bid on ebay. could get $100 200 a single root. I see some people do it. All I do is turn the hose on slow pour and sort of scrub of the dirt. No toothbrushes or anything like that. When the seng dries, it shrinks and the dirt dries and loosen and dust off. A little bit of the native soil on the root is part of the magic. Great season guys. Thanks for filming. There isn't a whole lot of content on you tube I wish. I had a camera on me this season to show some of the nice roots and big plants I found and some of the crazy steep terrain I was on. Gotta google earth them north facing hills. All winter long. That's what I do. Then check the east facing ones ect. And then go explore new areas.
