Elitefts providing the best lifting and training related content on the internet, bar none. Thank you guys for putting these out. I learn from them, I have kids I coach who I show these to, it's like having a coaching clinic free online with the highest quality info possible. These videos have increased countless totals, prevented countless injuries and inspired countless lifters... a little mind blowing how epic it is that you offer this content. True class, true vision, from a company that everyone in the industry should try and emulate. Thanks for the great work!
Is it Dave’s coaching , queuing , years of experience working with top class athletes that helps the squat , or does him shouting “ Get up “ just scare the shit out of the bar and it jumps up . As always a top video .
I like the authenticity and no bs real life, training advice and wisdom from a true professional, a legend! For years, over decades you guys spread positivity and the best educational content out there. thats why I love you guys and watch video after video and try to support you as much as possible. thank you very much for everything Dave and Sam and team elitefts
Actually, 6+1. Mind was blown when he explained the squatposition regarding suit//wraps//sleeves. Pretty much immediately went to the gym after that to test it. Had a nagging hip impingement, changed my squat slightly, boom, painfree squats, and 5 weeks of pain gone in 2 days. SERIOUSLY GET SOME COOLER STUFF IN THE UK STORE SO I CAN SUPPORT YOU!! I CAN NOT SAY THIS OFTEN ENOUGH!
Great video, great coaching unvaluable information. If I had a suggestion, I would love to see a raw squatter with wraps in the group or maybe a wrap coaching with dave! Really love the new videos you out out! thank you elitefts!
I love seeing the indivudalized coaching...even though I may not have the exact same issues, I am still learning a ton. Both for myself, and how to be a great coach, which ultimately is smthg I need/want to get into...at least on a part-time basis. This is greaT stuff
Could we please get a tutorial vid about geared squatting? There's videos on how to put on a suit but I have still not found a single video guide on actually properly using the gear to get the most out of it. Seeing Dave mention the tip on using a bar to press into and figure out the path to move based on that is a revolutionary thing I haven't heard of ever or seen ever, and nobody is talking about this stuff. I know equipped isn't a huge market/audience but I would greatly appreciate if that's something that could be covered. I hit a raw 585lb squat and in gear I've yet to pass 495 because I simply cannot figure out the 'groove' of this thing and nobody will explain it! :(
Thank you dave, sam, and elitefts! Also shout out to all the TYAO lifters for not having a perfect squat in daves eyes - learned some things from you guys!
I'd absolutely love to get direct feedback from Dave Tate on my three lifts, but I live in the UK, so it's be a lot of money if I ever had the opportunity. Maybe one day in the future.
My favorite content you guys put out is watching Dave coach live. Helped me so much in my own coaching and lifting. Also surprised with how much Sam (I think?) Knows. Jealous as fuck he gets to learn under Dave to teach like this.
More quality content. When I get my home gym it's carrying elite fts gear because you've given me that much it's only right I give back. Plus it's the best kit around
Got a little messy with both Sam and Daves mic being active at the same time, around 18:00 for example. Also for segments like that when Sam is off screen giving advice, it would be cool to maybe have a picture-in-picture so we can see both Dave and Sam at the same time, but that would require an additional camera, I don't know if that's worth on your end. Just a thought. Edit: Love the video btw.
Something I realized today is I have to take a wide stance squat , It is more comfortable and I can hit depth and lift more weight . You would think after 18 years of training I would know that. I have always changed my stance up and have hit prs doing both , but it finally hit me there is no need for me to be doing a close stance and not hit depth not even for bodybuilding which is what I am doing right now.

You went through all that trouble and then didn't put the colon between the numbers so it actually makes clickable timestamps 🤦😕 What a coincidence you call yourself king because you're the king of the fail army💯
What do you guys recommend for foot stance on squats? I’m starting to lift heavier weight and im still not sure what stance to use. Atm im using shoulder length but I see Tate’s stance and his is way wider than mine.
Squat stance is different for each individual. Depends on how your hip sockets are shaped. There are several videos out there showing you how to find where the hip moves best. Squat University and Brian Carrol are two I can think of off the top of my head.
I think you might be able to get more views from shorter videos published a little more often. I love this stuff and I think the algorithm generally favors more frequent updates
Maybe I missed the discussion in one of the previous videos. If someone could provide a link if they have one that would be great. But low bar vs high bar, and any changes/differences in form to help throughout the squat.
One thing this video has taught me is you can never stop learning new things to make exercises even more effective. You have the most informative workout videos on the internet, lots of love and appreciation from Canada
Dave, very informative video, but what I find is I fill my belly/obliques with air at the top, but I lose it on decent. It’s driving me crazy. How do I maintain it

Dave's enthusiasm is awesome to see. After all these years he's still so excited to see people learn and improve.
I love Sam's blatant honesty, like "It would've been easier if you just did it the first time"

Cueing* - queuing implies that Dave's secret is his ability to wait in line for things
Honest to god, hearing Dave shout, just raises your test level over 9000 and you just know you're not allowed to fuck up... "you've got one shot !"

How the hell does elitefts only have 118k subs on youtube? It has been my first and main go to since I started to lift back in 05.
