I have a feeling that is not Prince William idea of how to tackle homelessness, putting them in social housing or hotels will not work. Many homeless people have addiction and mental health problems. Several people have come up with ideas that would work, a safe area, lockable pods where the homeless person can sleep and store their belongings, access to medical professionals. Access to training and even help in finding work - they need to be given back their respect.
@@marian-j8xI think this way too. While listening to Neil, I wondered if maybe this will open the door to tie in Princess of Wales with her “mental health” venue?

We have a huge homelessness problem in the US. While it is those who have run out of luck supporting themselves, it is largely also those with untreated mental illness. When mental health institutions were closed decades ago they had no place to go. I think it's great Prince W is doing this and best of luck in finding out reasons and implementing solutions.

Prince William is right in doing his bit to highlight and assist to eleviate the problem best he can. It's not political. Supporting a cause does not involve giving his own homes. He's making a difference. He cannot eradicate the problem problem bur he certainly assist some
I agree with you, it's not political, it's an humanitarian issue. I also agree it can't be eradicated, because you can't help those who don't want to be helped. For those who are willing to accept some help just knowing someone is trying gives them some hope which is a start, but I'm sure Prince William will achieve much more than just that.
William is doing good work. Using his privilege and convening power to try and do good in the world. He doesn't need to do anything yet he is willing to take the flack and try and make an impact. All I can say is thank god William was born first, he'll make a great king.
Prince Willam is taking on a very big task. I truly hope he gets all the backing he needs. I also hope that all the homes created go to British born and veteran's. These people seem to have been forgotten with all our support going to illegal immigrants.
He shouldn't need any validations from reactions. He should just go ahead and do what he can. Even if only one person got a decent place to stay and put themselves together... its all the validations and essence. Period. Thats success. He is brave for even daring to think of that topic of homelessness... and to think he is taking actions, thats a true leader. Walking where even angels fear to tread. God bless him. I pray God grant him wisdom for the years ahead. In Jesus mighty name Amen.
To end homelessness, there has to have a beginning. William is the beginning. As you said, he brought attention to the problem. People will always gripe about something. Greta Thornburg, ugh.
No risk is too big for Prince William. He has an intelligent wife, Princess Catherine by his side. A Godly grandparents, the Middletons, is always interceding for their son-in-law. This is the Modern 22nd Century where God is express through their Royal Services & Godly behaviours.
It's commendable of William to take on this worldwide problem and it also goes hand in hand with mental health and drug addiction as we've found here across the pond. There are cities literally full to the brim with homeless blocking the entrances of stores and using the curb as a toilet and used needles everywhere. I truly hope the people take this problem to heart and support William's vision of eliminating homelessness, at least across the pond. A big 👋 from deep in the ❤ of Texas and Cheers y'all 😊
Prince William his brilliant at getting the light on what is going on and people will support him as long as it is for the people born here they do good things more than the government
Its brave of him to take this on. If he can only change the narrative and get even 25% success its great. You can't just do easy things. Ignore the critics. Also he has put his own money in it already and his land
Many people live in fine homes and some in palaces, but not all have the compassion, social conscious and determination that this man is demonstrating. I sincerely hope for his sake that he can make a positive difference. He deserves to feel useful. No better feeling.
I hope and pray that Prince William succeeds in his endeavour at least he is trying to help he as the compassion of his mother he as a good heart he cares so much about his people, it is this and the previous government that put these illegal immigrents up in 4 and 5 star hotels not Prince William.
I thank the Lord every day for the roof over my head. My heart truly goes out to homeless people and often, as you say Neil, it is through no fault of their own.
It's 2am at home, but I can't sleep without Neil's news. By the time I get home from work, it's too late for any news. William always goes in the right direction and follows his heart. Let's hope Diana is watching over him like a guardian angel, because that was her heart's desire as well.
There are very few who even think about the 'root causes' of any social ills their communities might be experiencing Neil. The fact that our future King is personally sourcing and harnessing grassroots knowledge to inform his plans to provide new communities of care with housing for those in need, is totally commendable and no mean feat.
One can only fail at something when one tries to do that thing. I believe that the people that never fail, are the ones that never tried. Far more noble to be known as the one that tried & failed, than to be known as the who never tried at all & just bumped their gums. Some people are really good at pointing their fingers at another failed attempt, until they realize they have three fingers pointing back at themselves.
I think Prince William is doing brilliantly. No, he may not be able to end homelessness, but he's raising awareness of how bad the situation is and how badly it needs to be addressed....one person can't end this situation, but one person can motivate others into teaming up to combine efforts to help and Prince William is doing just that.
Unfortunately his hands are tied when it comes to illegal immigrants being put up in hotels but he is to be commended for his efforts. Our own British subjects should come first, especially veterans.

We have all failed when it comes to homelessness, at least he’s trying and is shining a light on it. I never take the roof over my head for granted. ❤
Just more welfare and enabling for grifter’s.
Williams heart is in the right place ❤❤
I can never put the word failure in a sentence with Prince William.
William is doing good work. Using his privilege and convening power to try and do good in the world. He doesn't need to do anything yet he is willing to take the flack and try and make an impact. All I can say is thank god William was born first, he'll make a great king.
Progress not perfection. The fact HRH Prince William is trying to tackle it and find a way to resolve it and walk among them, speaks for itself.
Prince Willam is taking on a very big task. I truly hope he gets all the backing he needs. I also hope that all the homes created go to British born and veteran's. These people seem to have been forgotten with all our support going to illegal immigrants.
At least he is trying to do something about it.
Hi Neil, may God bless this project and see it succeed.
While Harry uses his mother for publicity William just carries on her work and probably misses her just as much as his whinny sibling.👋👋👋👋
Its brave of him to take this on. If he can only change the narrative and get even 25% success its great. You can't just do easy things. Ignore the critics. Also he has put his own money in it already and his land
Watching from Alberta Canada 🍁 🇨🇦 Love the Royal Family and I can depend on you for truth and seeing parts of the UK through your videos
His Mother would be so proud of him ❤
All those that will inevitably criticise, what are they doing to help solve the problem?
Many people live in fine homes and some in palaces, but not all have the compassion, social conscious and determination that this man is demonstrating. I sincerely hope for his sake that he can make a positive difference. He deserves to feel useful. No better feeling.
💚🦋💚Thanks Neil! 👍👋🌸👑🌹
I hope and pray that Prince William succeeds in his endeavour at least he is trying to help he as the compassion of his mother he as a good heart he cares so much about his people, it is this and the previous government that put these illegal immigrents up in 4 and 5 star hotels not Prince William.
👋👋👋 Love this update!
Hello Neil & chums 👋👋👋👋🩷 kath....Yorkshire England

Hi from Texas, Kath👋👋👋
Same here 🇺🇸
I think Prince William is doing brilliantly. No, he may not be able to end homelessness, but he's raising awareness of how bad the situation is and how badly it needs to be addressed....one person can't end this situation, but one person can motivate others into teaming up to combine efforts to help and Prince William is doing just that.
