Makai would be an awesome father to Jessica! I know I kinda wanted to see Kellan and Meghan adopt her at first so she and William could technically be siblings, and that we do of course have to wait and see how she gets along, but I could totally see Makai becoming her dad, I think that would be a beautiful happy ending for him. (Maybe he would teach her how to fire dance in the future! That would be cute... Also I love how all the royal children just took to her automatically and that they don't care that she was technically a commoner or anything like that, it definitely show that their parents raised them right and taught them not to be snobby elitists.) I'm so glad Araminta and Charles got to reconcile before he goes to college and she gets married. That felt very fulfilling and I'm glad they can step into their futures with that off of their chests: I love how you've portrayed their relationship as more complex and 3-Dimensional in the sense that they actually need to work through what happened between them instead of automatic healing or refusing to reconcile and holding a grudge: It definitely fleshes them out a lot. Also I'm not sure if you've seen the Kiera Knightley Pride and Prejudice but as many issues I had with that movie, the scene where Darcy is trying to help Bingley practice proposing to Jane was absolutely adorable and hilarious at the same time! I know Tai's husband probably didn't propose cause they were also arranged but maybe Han and Tai's husband could have a similar scene where he's just trying to help Han practice and maybe helping him to still his nerves a bit: Has room to be both cute and funny 😅

i wish people took things in a more positive light :( i feel like stories like that are not meant to be a political statement but more of a representation. thank you for addressing them rae even though i do think people shouldn't immediately jump to the first worst conclusion bcs it was news to me that it could've been perceived that way since you tend to leave heavier real life issues separate from your stories.

Honestly I find it very nice that you are trying all sorts of different types of family situations, and not just sticking to one type and doing it over and over again. It is very nice to see variety in a sims series.
I can definitely see why some people would have been perturbed by the storyline with Jessica, but I think you did a great job and your best at trying to represent your vision and give her more agency than what other people might have believed about it. Also, the fact that you even bother to clarify and educate yourself is amazing and should be congratulated - not everyone apologizes or tries to do research and that should always be encouraged! Especially when we write stories and create amazing fantasies where we imagine helping out children who need a home.

I think the only thing matters with a kid is giving a kid a home! There are so many kids that need a home. If we keep kids in the systems that can lead to a bunch of stuff that are not healthy stuff. I do believe that you need to want to have a child and not to have one just for the good stuff it comes with it. But i think Megan and Kellan are amazing parents and they would really help the child. (If this was real life) So I really like that you decided to bring a person that was adopted!
I think you should make one of the kingdoms monarchs evil or something like that. We know there is no war in the sims but maybe you can pretend that evil monarch starts a war with another kingdom who wants peace. That would be so cool.

If I may offer a suggestion, maybe change the term from “charity” to “philanthropy”. Charity is considered in the nonprofit field to be a term for people doing things for recognition vs Philanthropy being a more of the preferred term that describes doing good work for the sake of the work. There are many good articles about this, that I am happy to share. I know that this might seem like not a huge distinction, but it actually is a bigger thing in the nonprofit world.

How does Minti have anything to be sorry for? None of this was her fault. She didn’t start having feelings for Han till way after her and Charles officially ended things.
I always wanted Charles and Araminta to end up together, but the first intro was so perfect and conclusive. I can’t help but appreciate it 😊.
