What a lovely stadium The Shay is, especially the West stand covered by its gabled roof. These roofs are one of the reasons why I once fell in love with British football culture as a German, haha. I like the idea of The Shay being part of the EFL...I'd swap Halifax Town for Salford City or MK Dons anytime. But congratulations to York City. Thank you mate for your brilliant videos!

Although I'm a Notts fan, my second team is York City, so I'm really pleased at the progress that York has made. Hinshelwood has done a fantastic job and the possibility of promotion which was so remote last season, now seems a possibility.

We've suffered for so long we deserve a bit of success. Over 1000 went from York to Halifax last season with less than 24hr notice that was equally impressive lol
Greast club are York City I can remember them in the old Second Division playing teams like Manchester United, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Norwich City. They should get promoted with excellent away following like that and I see that their home attendances are over 5,000 which is considerably more than some in League Two and a few in League One. Good luck for the rest of the season!
