I have been going to UGA games for 28 years. This game was the most electric the atmosphere has ever been. I have been waiting on this film study since I got to my truck in the South Parking deck. I also, have put to bed the butthurt I felt from Brooks not acknowledging me in the crowd as I screamed at him. Now… shut up. Let’s grind some tape
Nobody does breakdowns better than right here. I always learn a lot every time I watch something on this channel and I'd say I have above average understanding of X's and O's . Tremendous work y'all
Nah I was ready for them to fire after ole miss. After the Tennessee and thinking about it. I think this schedule was going to inevitably give us very difficult obstacles. Considering we won the break or break games when it’s all on the line. Is a good sign. If they played ole miss it would probably be alot closer. If it isn’t in ole miss stadium and raining especially. Sec is tough this year. I was critical of beck too but his break out game against Tennessee could not have come at a better time. If we lose this game we are out of the sec champ and no playoffs. They did exactly what they needed to do to. I’m done doubting this team. They could lose but they could also win a natty. Anybody can be anybody this year so who knows
His play calling hasn’t even been the problem this year. That’s just every mouth breathers go to when their team struggles. Execution has been their problem and that still falls on him. They still looked sloppy Saturday night they just didn’t turn the ball over. And ever since he took over they have struggled to put points on the board in the 1st half.
Loved seeing the TEs getting involved in the passing game. OLine played a helluva game along with Beck. Atta boy to Coach Bobo for all the crap he gets calling a more balanced game with so many backs out. 44% rush - 56% pass. It’s been high 30% rush and low 60% rush.
50:30 agree, 100% OPI. The thing that frustrates us as fans is Arian didn't even need to (just like vs. Texas). He has to know where the ball is going based on the defenders' leverage.
Sometimes you can’t just set and wait for the ball to come into your hands. Sometimes you have to break hard and grab it like a it’s a million dollar bill.
Even though the TE’s finally decided to show up and have a day Monroe freeling is the biggest difference maker on this Georgia offense. Before watching this I said he had the best game of everyone up front and clearly you saw the same thing. 57 is a DUDE
28;00 That's not Monroe playing head over toes -- that's the dedender using snatch technique to pull him into that position. (Just adding extra context, I know Brooks knows that)
Greene is tough as hell for playing hurt. But Kirby needs to pull the trigger faster on pulling hurt players. Neither Brock nor McConkey should have been playing in last years SEC. It cost us a third Natty. Loyalty is important, but playing guys who are not physically able to execute is a downward spiral.
In all honesty the committee cost us a natty. We should have made it to playoffs after 1 loss by 3 points. But yeah I feel ya. Smael mondon looked good being back and having Tate getting better each week has really shown us how much we missed that talent.
Texas fan here. They slowed it down, it was a face mask. Hand was into the helmet which qualifies. The force ultimately caused the helmet to fall off a little bit later.
That Georgia we saw Saturday night is the best team in the country and I really hope we get a rematch on a neutral site and Tennessee shows up defensively I think that game would be incredible if we get both teams playing there A games.
This is the best one you’ve done. Love to see your passion man. Go get a bag doing this for a living (but don’t stop covering this football program cuz I need my crack). Love ya bye
great video again tennessee fan here good game forsure i hate everyone complaining bout the refs bc the trenches is where i thought we lost this game even before watching this and i think i was right tennessee also did not make good adjustments coming out of half which is usually something we do very well but again great video and dont let our hall of fame and all pro twitter fans get to you lol
ive been pulling for arian smith to break through for 5 years now. he's made some huge plays in big games for us but still, the costly drops are clearly never gonna competely disappear. im ngl, we had a one armed kid nicknamed Slot Machine in high school that came out for summer workouts and had better hands (hand, technically) than Arian Smith
Something about tenn scheme kirby just eats up. Neyland or Athens and I can't put my finger on it. They move the ball for a couple drives and then it just stops
@ I think they just had a really good game plan for us, we’ve been very 1 dimensional this year and that only carried us so far. They schemed for our defense really well , plus it seems we have lost all creativity and unpredictability on Offense. Oh well, on to the next we will see where the chips fall. Definitely will be rooting for Florida this weekend along with Army & maybe Ohio St to smoke Indiana (not sure if Ohio St winning or Indiana winning is better for the Vols but I would think making Indiana look terrible would be good for us)
@@ryanlexander7661well UGA is just getting healthy on defense. Mykell being about 75% most of the season, DLINEs been hurt, smael was a huge loss. Getting these veterans back and seeing the difference just goes to show how critical it is to have those guys. Our secondary is very young so without that pressure, they get eaten up. Ole miss game perfect example. Still hurt on offense as well so hopefully these last 2 weeks against these nobody teams will give us a chance to rest who need for playoffs. Can’t have freshman RB’s running the show an expect a natty. UGA sitting pretty though
For the facemask play, on TV they showed another angle from the other end zone and you can clearly see the hand grab the facemask. It's really tricky to see from the other angles though
I agree that Tennessee didn't do enough in the passing game to win this game....zero chunk plays but i also strongly feel the calls were favored in UGA's direction in key situations affecting momentum, but that's normal and to be expected. UGA is the SEC's current media darling team besides Bama and now Texas. It's just like in boxing, you need to beat the champions in convincing fashion because judges will almost always favor it towards the current reigning bigger name guy. Yes UGA didn't win a title last year but they are extremely relevant for this conference on the national stage until someone else can out do them besides just Bama. They deserve the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise which includes favorable calls as well which we've seen forever with Saban at Bama. It is what it is and makes perfect sense from a business standpoint. With that being said, UGA out coached us big time and completely outplayed us the entire second half. We couldn't hit the chunk plays in the passing game and quite frankly we didn't deserve to win because of it regardless of what the refs were doing. Nico is a tough kid and is going to to be really good, but he's going to have to try and stretch the field more often. UGA had good coverage for the most part but we still have to try to keep the safeties back if nothing else.I know he's scared of making a mistakes by chunking it up deep when there's little separation but we are going to have in order to beat the truly elite teams. I feel like Gasden Moore for us threw more deep shots last weekend in one half of football than Nico has all year... drawing four deep PI penalties on the opposite team something that very rarely happens when Nico is in. I'm just saying that Nico must learn to take more chances throwing the ball. Just wayyy too many safe high percentage passing plays regardless of opponent. Also, it was criminal by Heuple not to give Sampson more touches in the second half. I know UGA had no respect for our down field passing game and were able to tee off on us, but you got to trust that he's going to do what he does best eventually and make the first and/or second guy miss. First time we have not leaned on the running game in the second half all year. And then when we desperately needed a score while down in the fourth quarter only 15 yards away from the redzone on the 35, fourth down and 4, we basically gave up our killer instinct and tried to draw UGA offsides before false starting ourselves putting us at 4th and 9 and then punting the ball. I couldn't believe what i was watching. It should have been fast tempo go for the first down immediately as our offense had something going that drive. Instead we punted it like something ridiculous for only an extra 15 yards of cushion and UGA dud what everyone watching new they were going to do ..march down the field and score. That decision gave us no real chance to win the football game in the fourth quarter because the UGA offense was hot and we hadn't proven all night that we could stop Beck from hitting big cunk passing plays.
"UGA is the SEC's current media darling team besides Bama and now Texas" - so UGA is not the SEC media darling....i hope the crying helps you sleep at night because it's a pretty pitiful look for a "fanbase" that wishes they were relevant on the national stage.
Lmao. No one is crying. UGA out coached and beat our asses in the second half. That's just what i believe to be true in sports in general. It always is when there's big $$$ involved. It's not even a dig at UGA so calm down. You beat us flat out regardless.
I'm stating my honest gun held to my head thoughts. It seems like to me you are the one crying. I gave UGA all their props so no reason to get offended. The better overall team won on Saturday.
I want to begin by saying I respect the work your coaches have done developing talent. You lost your 2nd best pro prospect on defense (Tyler Baron) to the portal and still have a SEC caliber D. Having said all of that, your "statistical greatness," or whatever you want to call all of that chirping from Voltard nation about not surrendering more than 18 points -- that's simply a by-product of your schedule. Our O-line and WRs are having horrible years and you couldn't mount pressure or turnovers. Beat Vandy and we'll re-visit whether you can handle Indiana.
@thefilmguynetwork 21:30 could Luckie have changed his route once the timing was thrown off and run a deep post instead of that out route since there was so much open field from the middle over to the right?
@TheFilmGuyNetwork - did it look like UGA mostly ditched the helmet comms and went back to sideline signing? seems so to me. my contention has been everyone in the offense has not been on the same page when Carson changes the orig playcall. hence the mistakes.
