Το μοντέλο αυτό διαθέτει LCD οθόνη η οποία αποτελείται από την οθόνη απεικόνισης LCD μαζί με τo τζάμι/οθόνη αφής (Digitizer). Για να αλλαχθεί η οθόνη αφής και το τζάμι, είναι αναγκαίος ο διαχωρισμός με ειδικό εξοπλισμό λόγω ότι είναι κολλημένα με την LCD. Η νέα οθόνη αφής (Digitizer), μπορεί προαιρετικά να κολληθεί μόνο στο πλαίσιο περιφερειακά με παχιά κόλλα διπλής όψης ώστε να δημιουργηθεί κενό μεταξύ τους για να μη μένουν "στάμπες" στην αφή. Ειδάλλως, θα πρέπει να χρησιμοποιηθεί κόλλα LOCA (Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive).
Το θετικό μη χρήσης της κόλλας LOCA είναι ότι σε περίπτωση που ξανασπάσει ή χαλάσει η οθόνη αφής, δε θα χρειαστεί ξανά διαχωρισμό, έχοντας έτσι χαμηλότερο κόστος.
Το Tablet αυτό είναι σαν το T550 αλλά αυτό έχει διαφορετικό τζάμι και τη λειτουργία του S-Pen. Η λειτουργία του S-Pen δεν επηρεάζεται με την αλλαγή του τζαμιού.
Οι οθόνες αυτές είναι ευαίσθητες και σπάνε εύκολα, οπότε χρειάζεται ιδιαίτερη προσοχή και να γίνεται από άτομα με σχετική εμπειρία.

This model has an LCD screen which has the Digitizer bonded with the LCD as one piece. In order to replace only the digitizer, it needs to be separated very carefully with molybdenum wire and heat. Then the new digitizer is glued with thick double sided tape on the frame only, in order to create a gap between the LCD and digitizer so that no touch "stamps" are left when used. Otherwise, you can use LOCA (Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive) to glue it like the original.
The main advantage of not using LOCA is that if the digitizer cracks again or stops responding, the replacement will be much easier and cheaper, since no separation will be needed.
This tablet is like T550 but it has different digitizer and the S-Pen function, which is not affected by the replacement.
Warning: This process is dangerous, difficult and needs to be done by professionals. It may crack the screen, since the LCD is thin and sensitive. If it fails, the whole LCD Assembly must be purchased separately, which is expensive.

What is the GREEN adhesive tape you are using please? Is it better than TESA #4695?
we have never tried the tesa tape you mention. the green tape is foam tape in order to seal it well from air and create a small gap between the digi and the lcd to avoid leaving internal "stamps" during touch

Hello. Internal Lcd is the same for booth models P550 and T550 ?
I believe it is the same,not sure. Although p550 has the pen touch layer on the lcd,where t550 doesnt. Digitizer is different for sure. Fyi, Lcd and digi are bonded on p550
@@TechGuruGR i have cracked inside LCD on my P550,but Digitizer not cracked and its working. If its possible,there i can use this module from Aliexpress 🙄 ?
@@mikimiki4389 if only the internal lcd is cracked you need to replace the whole assembly.its not worth to keep the digi and do all this process
@@TechGuruGR Original new Assembly costs over 100€. copy assembly from china is 50-60€. But not have good experiences with copies from china for tablets ( touch not good working, dots inside the screens..) So wasting time and money. I just need to know if this internal lcd passed from T550 to P550? its still the same ? Thank you ;)

S pen works?
yes. screen has a separate layer behind the lcd backlight which reads the spen. this remains the factory one
