I don't want them to duplicate it honestly, Ty was a different story, and he can't be replaced as a character. But now that he's gone, I think we may get another love story with Nathan
I loved watching Amy & Ty grow closer through their ups & downs…and there were several ! Let’s see what happens as Amy grieves her loss of Ty & moves on. She won’t forget him❣️ She may choose to stay single or not…either way is okay!
Amber dating in season 17, especially her relationship with Nathan as the so called new Ty is in all liklihood a way for the writers to keep things interesting and not boring. However, in the final analysis the success of Heartland is for the writers to continue the love story and relationship of Amy and Ty in some form. Even if it is short of bringing Ty back, Amy simply talking about Ty to Lyndy or her reference to Ty in her day to day activities is the least the writers can do to really keep things interesting for the true Heartland fans.
I totally agree with you! Loved all of those scenes! By far my favorite scene are all three of the cloud gazing scenes, ep 1 where Amy is feeling she is happy being alone but… also wishes she had someone “in her corner” and the matching end scene with Nathan at the end. I loved how they used that as foreshadowing in the first episode!
