Thank you Amanda and Peggy... and Liz, and Leah, and all of my test knitters. My goodness, watching you both has me in tears. Your Millcasts are so good and you just speak right into the camera and it feels like you're talking directly to me at times, and I am so grateful for your care and support these past few months. Thank you for the late night texts and thank you for accommodating the random visits to the mill. Thank you for hosting this Knit-Along and I look forward to seeing what everyone does! I'll be following along on your Ravelry Group as much as possible and have a couple more videos to add to my tiny library of tutorials. All the best ~ Ona
Thank you, Ona!!!
What a magnificent sweater!!! I have a little ways to go but have set it as a goal! Live in Florida now but lived mostly in NH and stomping ground was Vermont!!! Will come by when I visit NH next!!!!
Can't wait to see you!
Your “secret sauce “you ponder…..you stick to knitting, you aren’t slurping your beverage on camera or making money off of patreon or adds, you are straight forward and have great inspirational ideas and are……simple enjoyment……those are the ingredients for a sauce that I keep going back to…..and I love my yarn and Peg…the address was correct🕊
Thanks so much,
Hey Ladies! nearly 30 minutes of pure joy! Thank you for that! Yarn, patterns and glorious knitted sweaters and shawls. Who could ask for more? you are a wonderful treat!
You are so welcome!
OMG! Ok....I totally agree!!! "Sweater for the ages!" Love the Lindal sweater. And yes, it does look like epaulettes on the shoulders! WOW!!!!! Just amazing! Thank you for another wonderful, genuinely positive millcast! Sending cool thoughts to you - it is HOT in MI too. (but thankfully not as bad as out west). People in the west are frying. ♨
Thanks for watching!
I loved your finished cabled cardigan, Peggy! You will find the right buttons.
Thanks!
The sweater for the KAL looks totally amazing and I will watch your progress with great interest. Peggy's cardigan looks warm and cosy. 🇬🇧
Oh thank you!
Always a joy to see you ladies. The sweater is so beautiful ona did a wonderful job. Your sweaters will be so lovely. 😊
Thanks so much 😊
You two are knocking it out of the park, congratulations! If I lived by I'd definitely be dropping to say hi.
Vermont is a great place to visit!
Omg! Peggy! That sweater is beautiful!
Awww...thanks!
There is a ton of polo in New England! That orange Lindal is gorgeous! I have a gift certificate to JFM…me thinks I need to knit one of these cardigans!!! This designer and these mill owners are an impressive team. I’m getting choked up thinking about the journey that I’ve been on with Junction Fiber Millcast. I found this channel the beginning of my knitting journey. It has been a steep learning curve, being legally blind, but I wouldn’t change it.💗💗💗
Wow! You are an inspiration!
Thank you so much and the new pullover/cardigan is just amazing! Still real hot here in Connecticut but we’re all still knitting! 😃😂😃🧶🧶🧶
Wonderful!
Thanks for your podcast. Two things: I’m taking part in the KAL. When I bought the 32 page pattern, my first impression was OMGoodness. Even as an experienced knitter, I was overwhelmed. However, step by step there’s no reason I can’t do this. And, thank you for the sample of the Pine and Needles Shawl. It will make up beautifully with my April Mill Box!
I promise - it is not as complicated as it seems - not all directions are for every size - you can do it!!
I love Peggy...being real.
Always...
Thank you for an other great podcast. Loved the new sweater pattern:)😊
So glad!
That cable cardi sweater, Peggy!! 😃 Just gorgeous! 🤸🏼♂️ And love the shawl too! Love watching you two. Stay cool and be glad you aren’t in So. Oregon where we have had triple digits daily for a week. 🥵 At least our Coast is about 2.5 hrs drive but, still a drive.
Wow - triple digits! YIKES
The little dress is absolutely beautiful. I have no one to make it for. 😢 May still get it any way. Gorgeous!
Words cannot be found… Lindal sweater is magnificent, gorgeous, stunning…
Such a Masterpiece! I plan to get the pattern, JFM yarn (hmmm what color/s???) very soon! Cardigan for me!
I’m amazed at the work writing this pattern up.
I adore Garter stitch and in a color-changing yarn…this is my kinda project!
Thank you for showing all the beautiful colors of yarn! I love purple, with orange?? Blue w yellow/orange??? A deep Red w …??..
Thank you Ona for this stunning pattern! (again, can’t find enough words) You’re a Treasure!
Thanks so much!
Hey Amanda! Hey Peggy! I enjoy today’s cast, especially the parade of Lindahl’s. In fact, I put you on pause partway through to go buy my sweater bundle. I’ll be swatching with the little bit of farm fresh from my stash while I wait for the mailman.
Awesome!
I’m really excited to get to this cast on 🎉
Awesome, Tom! Can't wait to see your Maryland Blue Crab Sweater!! _ Liz
I had such a great time at the open house- it was so enjoyable to go on the mill tour with Leah, and I’m so grateful with the help with choosing the right yarn for my buttons. I also have to say it was a great environment you create, I met so many other makers and it was nice to make those connections too!! So nice to meet Ona too- she’s such an inspiration!!
Love your sweater Peggy!!
Also the boob sweat struggle is real. ❤
Hope to be able to join the virtual knit night!!
xoxoxox!!!
Awesome!
Oh my
Gosh Peg …. Your sweater is stunning!
Thanks so much!
Bravo, Ona, for that sweater!!
It is amazing indeed!
Thanks Peggy and Amanda. The KAL pattern is gorgeous. Wow! So impressed by the design.
Thanks for watching!
Look at all of those Linda’s sweaters!! Each more gorgeous than the last😁
So much inspiration!
The sweaters are amazing👏
Thanks so much!
Wow the sweaters are awesome. I want to make the cardigan. Will be ordering soon, just saw the podcast today. Yep pee ❤🎉
YAY!!!
Another great Millcast, ladies! Loved seeing all the beautiful Lindal sweaters but having a hard time deciding on colors. What color of Making Tracks is on the mannequin behind you? I have 7 colors of Making Tracks I bought to make A Nightshift shawl at your September 2023 Open House, but am now leaning toward a Lindal Cardigan. I’ll have to book a Zoom shopping appointment to try and pick up a second skein of whatever color I decide on. Try and stay cool! It’s hotter here in Dallas but we’ve all got AC unlike most Vermonters.
That is Stick season behind us! Good luck!
OMG! The Lindal Sweater is exquisite! I especially love Peg's Lindal cardigan and the colors she used! Huge congratulations to Ona as well as to you all!
Thanks so much!
Great sweater so many possibilities. Well done all.
Thanks!
You are both amazing knitters
Aww...thanks!
Fabulous new knit along patterns!
Thanks so much!
Wow that's a beautiful sweater. Thank you ladies!
Glad you like it!
Oh, goodness. What are you tempting me into? 😉
Go for it!
Thank you for introducing patterns for your yarn.
Thanks for watching!
What a gorgeous sweater
It really is! We are all excited about it!
I look forward to you guys so much every week. Such an uplifting time. Now question….what do you guys plan on doing with your lifetime of knitting sweaters? I’m 78 with 36 sweaters 😵💫🥴
Good question!
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Peggy, you left us hangin😜. What’s the title of the book? It sounds interesting!
It was the Throne of Glass series.:)
Do you have any more videos about the Lindal Cardigan. I am stuck after shape 48. Should jump to shape 20.
There is a great discussion thread on our Ravelry page - hope that helps!
Hi all, I love the Lindal cardigan and started it last night. Got the button band done and am starting on the bottom ribbing and sweater and am confused already. Is the KAL only on instagram? I’m not on it, so is there someplace else to get help?
there is a ravelry page for the knit along in our Junction Fiber Mill group: www.ravelry.com/discuss/junction-fiber-mill/4319405/1-25#17
Does anyone have some advice to help me. I am struggling as I prepare to start the Lindal pullover.
In order to get stitch gauge of 19 I need to jump up to US size 10 needles but only get 24 rows in 4”.
US size 6 as suggested in the pattern gives me row gauge of 34 but 4 too many stitches in 4”.
There is a great ravelry discussion thread that is very helpful. I suggest going there or reaching out to Ashley at Hermit Thrush Fibers for a help session if you get stuck!
