- Today we took a short drive the iconic Pioneer Saloon. We also explore the historic Old West town of Goodsprings Nevada and learn a little about its history that states back to the early 1900's. I got a lot of the information from the Pioneer Saloon website. Check it out! www.pioneersaloon.info
My channel is made just for fun to get me out of the house, go on adventures, and discover new things. My content will mostly be about Las Vegas history and modern attractions since that's where I live. I might head to a resort, a tourist spot, a historic site, or a random roadside attraction. I will do my best to get my information correct. I also try to keep things positive and friendly for viewers of all ages. I travel frequently to Los Angeles and Disneyland. If you ever played "Fallout New Vegas" then you have been by this saloon many times. It features prominently in the game.

Thankyou for inviting us on you very informative trip ! - the very first time I heard about this amazing bar with all of its history was with the Ghost busting guys Zac Arron & the er the other one ... the one that left - and you spent most of the time in the dark ! - So it was great to see it in the daylight as a full fuctioning bar ! - I would love to visit it one day !

Inside the gift store is a book called Quest for Success . This tells the real story of a miner and his family that went to the Pioneer Saloon in the mid 20th Century.

I have been up and down 15 so many times going to California from Vegas and back. Staying at Whisky Pete's and driving in to Vegas but never have been to Good Springs.
Here is a challenge for you Dani. The story goes Whisky Pete was buried some where near the Casino so he could watch the road for eternity. That would be a interesting story and you could visit the Bonnie and Clyde car if its still there. Say hello to Pete for me if you find him...

I believe Las Vegas high school is the oldest still in use school in Nevada opened in 1905 and still has some of the buildings on site. If you are on the hunt for ghost towns look up rhyolite nv it’s just outside of Beatty really cool place to checkout

Carole Lombard crash January,1942 one month after the Pearl Harbor attack
The DC-3,headed to California, was supposed to land in Boulder,NV to refuel, but landed in Las Vegas at night because the LV airport had lights. The flight plan taking off from Boulder had the plane climbing to 8,000 ft to avoid the mountains. Unfortunately, the DC-3 taking off from Las Vegas at night, instead of Boulder, had the 8,500 ft Mt in the flight path. The US Army Air Force bumped everybody off the airplane except the 3 person Lombard party.
