UP won because for the first time this season from start to last minute of the game they are aggressive, they share the ball with good shooting and focus to win.

UP has a great coach and a bunch of talented players with heart, they just have to maintain their disposition when under pressure and thrive from it. Great game.

Underrated talaga tong si Cagulangan
The win proves that Ateneo is beatable, and UP has what it takes to win it all.
But it also tells us that Ateneo might just become more dangerous, while UP still has a lot of work to do to strengthen their chances to be champions
People who claim Ateneo is unbeatable clearly have not played basketball to understand that anything can happen in a competitive sport like basketball. UP has the talent and with enough discipline can beat ADMU in a series.
Remember the seemingly unbeatable 73-9 GSW? They got a historic upset by the LeBron Cavs.
Remember the DLSU team (Cardona-Cortez-Yeoh) that, like this ADMU team, went 13-0 and then was defeated by ADMU (Tenorio-Villanueva-Alvarez-Fonacier) during the last game. That ADMU also defeated DLSU in the Finals.

Ang key sa win na to ay si Diouf talaga. Kailangan talaga ganito laro nya lagi para matapatan si Kouame. Second is yung composure kasi nalamangan nila Ateneo ng malaki nahabol lang. Saka maximize nila height advantage nila sa Ateneo mas maging aggressive sa rebounds.
Was there, I wanted to say that both big men, Diouf and Kouame, carried the team, especially with rebounds and follow ups, they do not miss chances!

This win by UP over Ateneo shows that the underdog can beat the clear and obvious frontrunner. No need for no. 2 to withdraw because she can beat no. 1. I don't consider this as David and Goliath. UP is not that small or weak of a team against Ateneo. IMO, UP's players, collectively, has a bit of edge over Ateneo's. Mas lamang lang siguro ang sistema ng Ateneo, but that doesn't mean di sila kayang talunin.

Let's learn from this experience, Blue Eagles! I'd choose a loss now than in the Final Four. This loss will only let the team realize their current weaknesses, and I know they'll address those in the next match-up with UP. A 39-game winning streak is still something to be proud of, and a warning to other teams that ADMU is still a beast. OBF!

UP need to learn how to finish the game. This game was one of the best UP game. I like the rotation but UP bigs need to learn to box out Kouame, he is big and strong and need everyone of the players to help in rebound.
Keep it up and UP game are evolving now. Rivero need to improve his defense.
