¡Poder SINGLE CAM! Definitivamente hay que quitarse el sombrero al ver que se le pueden sacar alrededor de 1100HP a un motor de 1.6L “un palo” y recorrer el ¼ de milla en 8.39 segundos a mas de 170mph. Billy junto con su equipo de Mecánica Ilegal y programación Krusty Tech han logrado colocarse en la 1ra posición de motores de “un palo de leva”. Actualmente esta corriendo en una de las categorías más prestigiosas de autos delantera enfrentando autos con mecánica Serie B y Serie K. Only people who knows nothing about d series says that. D series turbo are so much fun when building it right. And the cost is way less with just as reliable as b or k series
@@teelee8760 I said I'm not a fan, not that I dislike D Series engines. They may have potential but you simply can't compare it to the B/K Series, SOHC is limited in many ways. All motor applications of K engines make around 600hp at its best, world record boosted B engines make 2000hp...completely different leagues.

@@LatinoAD I have a DOHC ZC. I sadly did not know what I was doing and went for an N/A high compression build which I found out was a bad move since they said the ZC head doesn't work efficiently N/A unlike the B and K. I make go sleeved turbo next build.

damn that thing moves. i only liked the d16 because it sits higher in the car so oil pan clearance is less of an issue if youre lowered, but this is pretty rad.

Que mucho jodn en los comentarios quejandose que ese bloque es 1.6 por fuera pero por dentro viene siendo un 2.0 y que tiene pistones y vielas y no se que mas. De eso se trata la mecanica ignorantes que mas da o importa que tiene el motor por dentro la mecanica racing se trata de eso de cojer cualquier motor y hacer el invento que sea y sacarle el maximo

They don't ask because these guys are competitive and don't like letting their competition know the setup they are running. All I know is that the block is OEM. It's likely sleeved and has forged pistons and rods.

It would just weigh it down and run slower. Look how hard it takes off and still doesn't spin much. The d series doesn't put down nowhere near the torque of a k series or even a b series. The d series allows this car to utilize its power better.

claro que se puede ir a un poco mas¡¡ el bloque motor los limita en cuanto monten un billet y puedan aumentar el soplado del turbo sin que explote el bloque original de aluminio de fundicion seran aun mas potentes¡¡ ya ni que decir siendo AWD bajaran a los 7 segundos seran D-series de 1500-1600 caballos y tal vez pasen de ser de 1.6 a 2.0L D20Z6 xD

El bloque obligado es dalton o billet para aguantar esos caballos.

Tiene camisillas que lo hace como "fully closed deck", y es "overbore" a 2 litros. El cigueñal, pistones y vielas son forjados. Es possible que los pistones sean marca "Arias".

Obviously a fully built D16. Anything and the best you can throw at it. The thing is making 1100hp lol. I wouldn't be surprised if it had titanium rods and all sorts of pretty ridiculous parts.
