I tried to meet up with you, I make candles, I have been following you since you moved here in DC but I never received a response from you. Happy you're back home. Blessings to you 🙏🏾
The time for shaming South Africans who have decided to leave South Africa, has to stop. Not all of us left because we were suffering, not all of us left to be nannies/waiters/nurses. There are many South Africans who are abroad working as captains of industry, decision makers, taste makers, trendsetters, inventors, people working to improve the lives of South Africans back home and those abroad. South Africans are very patriotic, very Proudly South African, its in all our DNA but that pride can easily be turned into something else and thats sad to see when it happens.
Deep down, they're envying us & the only thing to comfort themselves is by mocking us because they don't have the means to leave. Most of them are busy taking drugs and drinking themselves into oblivion to try and numb their pain & frustrations. 🇿🇦 is cool when one has a good paying job, but if you're on the other end of the scale, it is not ayoba at all. Don't mind them. Let them swim in their own pool of ignorance.
Amen to that. Im also a proud S. African, however i clearly see the pros & cons of living here in the U.S. The positives outweigh the negetives by far.
I also still ❤ my Mzansi, though there's massive problems at home.
Don't mind them. It is jealous & envy that's making them nasty. If they had means they would've left 🇿🇦 a long time ago and looked for greener pastures somewhere else, just like us. Patriotism does not pay bills or put food on the table. Western countries are not perfect, but they've structures & economies that cater to everyone regardless of your background, age, and education. Unlike back home, where it is the survival of the fittest as far as opportunities are concerned.
Your last video was a touching eye opener. A lot of good will come out of it. Never be moved from a position of truth. Even those whom it offends will come to appreciate it in time. Keep up the good work. (Im in East London/Mthatha, SA).
Thank you for such a beautiful vlog 🙏🙏🍁💞💖🇿🇦🇿🇦
Beautiful work promoting our Country.I am a Rugby Fan and a Springbok fan.Springboks have done so much to put South Africa on the World map and and I can say that you and hubby are even going further than that.Yes.We love our Country and we also love what the Americans are doing to contribute to our economy and uplifting our people.
There's this group of black 🇿🇦 who've never left the country or let alone their home provinces, but they still claim to know it all. And they often say black South Africans don't travel to work overseas because South Africa has got everything. Here in the UK there's a big community of black saffa nurses who came here more than 20yrs ago. Some of us built houses, sent siblings to universities, helped relatives out of extreme poverty with the money that we've been earning from the West. Our kids now have free education, free healthcare, and plenty of opportunities to become whatever they want without paying bribes or sleeping with people in powerful positions in order to get jobs or favours. The West is not perfect, but 🇿🇦 cannot be compared to them when it comes to the standard of living. This Dec I'm visiting home, the clothes, phones, tablets, laptops & shoes that i bought for my family there's no way i could've afford all these things with a salary earned in Rands. I'm grateful to the UK & no matter how full my stomach is, i will never diss the country that has enabled me to feed my family for the past 20yrs years.
-First you don't have to live in a country to know it, but rather its more about experience.
-Second most blacks don't even have money to travel the world let alone thier country.
-Third Not everyone in SA sleeps with people or bribes to succeed that is your experience. Learn to respect others, and respect where you come from. Stop being ignorant
@KoketsoR7
Yes, one has to live in a country in order to know how it works. I've never lived in Brazil, so i don't know how that country works. Nowhere on my comment did I say black people have money to travel the world. Again, you just replied back for the sake of doing it without understanding my point. I never said everyone was sleeping with people to get jobs. I've got female siblings, relatives & friends who were subjected to that nonsense when they were looking for jobs. If it has never happened to you or anyone you know, it does not mean it is not out there. You mentioned respecting other people, etc. Those are your own delusions because I did not insult or disrespect anyone. Remove that chip on your shoulders. It makes you come with conspiracy theories that are not real and only happening in your brain.
@kentcountryside1 the problem is u are too arrogant u started by accusing of not even been outside their provinces, who told u they needed to who told u bribery doesn't happen in the UK, js get off your high horse, we are fine with the money we earning here cz still with those pounds your earning that side u still having to spend them as they are in that country
@salomenkoana4937
You're one of the people I was referring to. They are exactly like you. Hence, I can tell that they've never left their provinces. Anyone who has left their hometown won't be shallow like you & your fellow peers. Crawl out of your ignorant rock if you still pretend not to know that most people get jobs through connections & bribing in South Africa. Job bribery does not happen in the UK because there are plenty of jobs available for everyone. I didn't ask anything about your finances. What I'm earning here has got nothing to do with you. And where I spend my money is also none of your business. Take your frustrations somewhere else
Your first sentence is catchy, in a demeaning way. The biggest and worst potholes I’ve seen were in France. Better currency is also accompanied by expensive taxes, accommodation, food etc.
You are doing a good job 👏🏽
I appreciate your work sesi Velile, keep it up, you are helping and educating lot of people

Wish there are more SAns like you, SA needs people like you who see SA in relation to world that understands the need to also project SA culture while you understand and appreciate other peoples culture, you doing a great job yours is actually more an educational vlog than entertainment or hyping I wish SAns in SA particularly those that have never left SA watch your episodes

Hie yes l have seen your husband with Americans on tv
Hey... if you post, be ready for comments. Ure not going to like some & its OK. You enjoy bashing the U.S. more than elevating S. Africa. Your report is not balanced & I know why S.A. pple in general love to hate US while needing them economically. You had v positive to that's crustal clear. Well...to truth is usually somewhere in the middle. Some of us are doing WELL . Majority of foreigners - Africans, Islanders & S.Africans I know are successful. US is the land of immigrants. More expensive but darn worth it. Id never live in Washington DC. Be prepared to WORK HARD & SAVE. Do your research about cost of living in the city or state you choose to migrate to. Avoid D.C, LA, NY, Seattle & other big cities. People are kind & many nationalities make it here. Some Struggle, including American citizens - Just like everywhere else. Peace...
Why would I settle in other cities while the work is in Washington DC?. What are you on about anyway. Your comment is out of order comrade.
You said you are promoting South Africa! No, you only started promoting South Africa after seeing Americans do it. The first UA-cam video about South Africa was "The Real South Africa," who promote your country!! Then, you jumped on the bandwagon of what they already established. You came up with rural investing, which was great. Yeah, It's not right to criticise South Africans to promote your own agenda. Not all South Africans and Americans are struggling; it depends on how individuals manage their finances. As Lucky Dube said, if you have nothing good to say, stop talking. Those who live abroad made that decision, and it’s not your place to speak negatively about them. Stop making South Africa look bad. Promoting the rural areas was good, but your current approach is not.
It would help to talk to your President about putting SA first so people can stay in the country. Great jobs for South Africans first. Yeah, South Africa was much better under the National Party. Everything was going well in SA. People had jobs, and the infrastructure was on point. I don’t say the National Party was perfect. They have their flows as well. But they kept South Africa in order and ensured the country ran smoothly.
Now, what Ramaphosa does for your country, All he does is make the rich richer. Did he visit the rural ereas to see how some people make a living? No! Only when he needs votes ✅ to venerable Citizens. So you, Missy, if you love SA and want to promote South Africa abroad, start talking to your President by cleaning out those Pakistanis and other harmful salts who come there without proper documents and bring drugs that are killing the SA youth. Some Pakistanis are harming the SA children by selling the poisoned food to rural ereas. South Africans deserve better. So, it should be your job to promote South Africa well rather than criticise the South Africans who live abroad!!.
Why focus on the Pakistanis? You can make your point without singling people out. Have a great day.
Thank you for speaking the truth even if it hurts it will definitely set them free❤
Wow ke on the National Party related points, wow - I am sure you thought you were saying a good thing when you said that since you did not stop like Lucky Dube said
Eating cornflakes and washing dishes what a waste of time
