Cool set up! Only thing I recommend moving the water away from the batteries.

Re, water leak just run a bead of rainbuster around the joint on the outside. Thay stuff is really tough and it bonds like crazy. Get it in white and use the application tool for smooth finish

@@inpursuitofstoke building a 2022 sprinter, tons of videos on my channel. It was confirming to hear about the openness idea, and power being all on the same side and accessible and the toilet. I’m going with an incinerating toilet so I don’t have to mess with any tanks or compost. I also travel solo which makes things a bit easier for me than you guys might deal with.

Is van life for an amputee a good idea for a channel? That tours the country as a motivation speaker. I just started really trying this platform 6 weeks ago. Ive grown from 75 subs to 300. Is this good for that time period of trying? 6:27

I bet a wheelchair accessible van would make things very convenient a comfortable, if you can find a van with a lift or ramp and some sort of emergency ramp or lift in the event the motorized one breaks, you could definitely get a large following and maybe even I spire some rv makers to add disability access to some models as an option or something that can be covered by your insurance or state coverage, that'd be something unique that I'd be interested in watching!
Even if you go a different route for more space, box truck or something, it's be really cool to see what you come up with, if you're wheelchair bound you might consider looking into retired city busses, depending on the year a lot of them have ramps similar to subway systems and other underground metro 🚇 as well as some city busses, and if I'm not mistaken, a few of the ones I rode almost 6 years ago were hybrid busses so keep that in mind for fuel economy 😉
If you do decide to do a van build, I'll definitely be watching 👍

@@MobBarley-z3k I am not wheelchair bound. I use a prosthetic leg friend. And I started my van build over a month ago. My rig is an old ford e150 hightop conversion van. Ive named my van the HEAL-mobile. I am a service connected veteran so I have my insurance thru the VA. I just got my new microprocessor driven prosthetic leg two days ago. Check out the video of the full fitting process. Its a video on my page named. I now have a robot leg.

People have too much stuff that’s why they feel the need to have lots of storage space. Get rid of stuff you don’t need and you won’t need extra cupboards around your bed and you’d be able to have a small space for a shower where you could put your toilet so you’d then feel more comfortable to do 💩 in your 🚽

We do shower off the back occasionally! We agree, people do have a ton of stuff in their van! We are no different though 🫢 Lots of socks and books! The creature comforts are what make this space a home for us!

Exactly, people are trying to turn a van into a house--not practical. When I built my ProMaster, I didn't put any overhead cabinet and kept the open space concept. Never had storage problems.
