I was at the la Quinta Inn, looking down toward veterans. my bruh and I were smoking a joint under the entrance. we walk out into the wind to feel it's strength, boy was it strong.
Anyone who watches, this area still looks exactly the same, maybe different signs on some of the buildings, oh, and no water...
The flooding on Williams Blvd and in Kenner and adjacent Metairie were because the water pumps were shut down and the pump operators sent 70 miles away to sit out the storm by order of Aaron Broussard. He's now serving time, but not for this bad decision.
We've learned, pump operators now have safe-houses to work in...
lowell mccormick 110 Kilometers
Louisiana would never be the same...again
That Shell station on Willams stills stands as shell e.e
And the ever so popular Lamarque Ford XD
I know that street he's driving on, it's Williams Blvd.
Jonathan Small I’m from Dallas and we went Nola it was my favorite street is veterans and humanity
@@dmobibj1401 Vets is crazy.... No other boulevard like it anywhere!
@@dmobibj1401 right in Metairie it looks beautiful I'm from Houston
That was the back side of the storm
Should have left I-10 @ Causeway and gone south toward the river (high ground). Then you could have taken U.S. 61, Airline Hwy, to the airport. Land here tends to slope from the river down to the lake. From 12 to 15' above sea level to sea level.
+lowell mccormick he wasn't attempting to escape, he was trying to get raw footage because that's his job. And in one of his videos he states he's not from here.
Actually he was trying to get out of town at that point. He'd already gotten his footage. Whether you are from New Orleans or not, it's good to know where the high ground is. It's Tchoupitoulas, Leake Ave, Jefferson Hwy and any other road close to the river. Good luck with the current high water in the river. It should be fun to go see the spillway in action. Last time it was open there were 45 lb Asian carp being caught from the spillway shore.
I thought he was still getting footage, and thanks...?
lowell mccormick Nola should be a banded city move to Lafayette La it’s kindda like Nola
