Hi everyone! I am very very much enjoying this foundation. After about an hour of wear, the foundation seemed to really settle in (in a good way) and truly become seamless on my skin. While the shade is not the perfect match for me, I couldn't ignore the fact that the formula seemed to make my skin look better as the day went on. I have had it on for 8 hours and it looks flawless. I've had a mask on for about 3 hours today and I see slight wearing away around my mouth (probably due to eating and wiping too) but it looks flawless everywhere else. I'm impressed with how it has handled the texture along my jawless, my laugh lines, and my forehead. Those areas all look amazing. And the concealer is fantastic. It's very similar to the By Terry Densiliss serum concealer, but I think it wears better. The fine lines in my under eye area seem completely diminished. I'm very happily surprised! And while the Ilia shadows were not easy to get on, they have definitely stayed put. So that is a plus. The lipstick has also been fairly long-wearing. Not completely transfer-proof, but I didn't feel like I needed to touch up after a meal. I could have, but didn't feel like I had to.
So this brand used to be known as "37 Actives" and was rebranded over the last year or 2 into "Macrene Actives". I discovered the brand when I got a random sample of the 37 Actives cleanser (which was between $70-85 at the time, is more now). The cleanser was AMAZING. Seriously, the best cleanser I've probably ever used. I don't know if they reformulated when they rebranded or not. I'm so happy to see someone reviewing some of their products since their rebrand! Michele, you are on FIRE churning out the content these last few weeks and I've really been enjoying it - thank you!
As soon as I heard Michelle read "37 actives" off the box I was wondering if there was a connection to the brand "37 Actives." If I recall correctly, their tinted moisturizer was really excellent, but I also had trouble with the shade being too light and cool for me. But I'm going to give it a whirl again, thanks to Michelle!!
Michele! When you put the lipstick on... OMG. It lights up your face! All the colors, dark hair, muslim colored delicate top (love it), delicate face, WOW. This is stunning on you, it all melded into extreme "pretty." I am so glad you like what the foundation did with your skin. I have to try it, thanks!
You look stunning in red lipstick. The whole look was glorious: pale beautiful skin, creamy pink cheeks, and that incredible red lip. I’m torn about buying the macrene products. Would like to see review of their skincare, too.
I like the shade, very clear you prefer the warmer shade that more closely match your forehead, but the match for your neck looks lovely. Don't discount it entirely :) ... though, of course you can see better than we can with all the lights, but still, the color has a grace to it
I have to admit, though it is a smidge light and cool, I'm surprised by how much I like this shade on Michelle. The thumbnail really caught my eye, especially with the rosy cheeks and red lip!

I’m glad you pointed out the titanium dioxide. I think you’re right that it accounts for the whiteish cast to the shade, and for longevity on the skin. Other ingredients in bulk here are dimethicone and silicones. The only thing that bothers me is the $195 price tag for these inexpensive ingredients. I guess it’s left up to the user whether the additional botanicals are worth the money or not.
Yeah. I can’t understand how the charge so much for makeup. It blows my mind companies charge us that. It’s ridiculous I think. My opinion. Not a hater it’s just too much sadly

I used to just light one candle at a time, never thought the ones that come as a set can be used together. New scent = new mood. What I would find really helpful is a review of makeup bags or cases you use for travel. And a review of travel makeup:. Can include a review of all your travel brushes and travel eyeshadow palettes. You have probably already done a version of this. I did watch how you packed for the mini getaway.

At you recommendation, I bought the foundation and concealer. I am light\medium cool olive. I chose MEDIUM in both and shade was perfect. WOW. I am impressed. I agree, it is natural yet perfecting and doesn’t settle in lines ( I am in my 50s). I appreciate all the skincare I can get. It wears very well. I can’t wait to see if it improves my skin. I still love the light watery moisture of my YSL All in One Foundation sunscreen which is perfecting yet somehow covers and isn’t too expensive. It’s in a tube AND has a pump, who cannot love that for travel or your bag? I wear that one in BR30. I would also compare the new foundation to Surratt Dewdrop Foundation in its perfecting way but more moisturizing. I cannot wait to see what this treatment foundation does for my skin as I wear it. I have the Macrene tinted moisturizer in Medium and it’s lovely, I think you’ll like it as well. I have the concealer in Light which actually blends well with the Medium. Especially the Inner Glow Creme pigments and eye soots. Looking at trying their highlighter next. The Glow Creme can be used as blush. lip and eyeshadow. The thing that caught my attention are the colors, they are unique. Let us know if you've ever checked this cosmetic line out. The foundation and concealer looks lovely on you! You really look stunning in this video Michele! My gripe is with the claims that this brand is giving to their products.. I checked the ingredient list for both the foundation and the concealer and nothing shown there is “anti-aging”. That puts me off from buying from this company tbh.

Those Ilia eyeshadows set down quickly, but they seem like they would be great in the heat. I have a hard time sweating off my eyeshadow in the summer. I am watching my son play baseball and those would not budge.

The shade of foundation is definitely light on you but the finish is so natural, skin like and flawless.

I used the Macrene High performance serum, It was a nice serum and I enjoyed using it but it did not justify the 195$ I paid for it.
