Looking Good! To avoid scratches, try using the thin "cutting board" material to act as a slide for the hinge pulls. The sheets usually come in a multi color pack and they are no more than 1/16" thick. The white should blend in well, or use a color sheet for a contrasting spot of interest. Looking forward to seeing what else you do.
I was even think about something like tenacious tape or similar. Just touch up the paint first and apply a clear film over the spot the release hits. We have a trip planned in early November so this week I am trying to check numerous things off the list. Should have a lot of build content coming out in the coming weeks😊
Nice! You definitely pushed through on that countertop. Reminds me of my projects. Looks like that flip-up countertop will also be accessible from the passenger swivel seat.
I was definitely getting worried I ruined it. Glad it turned out! We haven't tested it with the swivel just, but that is an exciting option! In the future we want to also get a lagun leg. We have another piece of the countertop to use for it. I'll make sure to go straight to the 1/2" screws 😂
The ones I purchased say they’re unavailable but this is similar and from a company I’ve purchased many products from (hinges and handles)~ amzn.to/44ysIwa I bought 14 inch ones for my need. There are different lengths if you need more or less length. Let me know if you have other questions. Good luck with your install!🙌🏼
It's a lab counter top, like Paperstone. We opted to save time and energy over buying Paperstone. I worked with these guys labds.com/products/phenolic-countertop/
@@seanmac9520 Yep! We talked through the sink and faucet placement. They sent back drawings to sign off on. It was really easy to work with them! I always hate missing a week to post a new video but we were out of town for 2 weeks and came back to our house in the middle of renovation. We are currently camping out in the back yard. Not sure if I'll get to an episode this week either. Hoping so! 😀 (If you ever feel like supporting what I'm putting out, we do have a Patreon 😉 patreon.com/TrailVagabonds )
finally getting to the flip up counter extension. as always, thanks for the help. Hope all is well.
Looks great! Just add small piece of frame tape from one of your bikes.
Great thinking! 🙌🏻

Thank you so much for this!
No problem!😊 I hope it can be helpful! 🙌🏻
Thanks for the update!
Absolutely! A lot more to come!
I know you have gotten other suggestions, but maybe try some black heat shrink on the levers?
That's a great idea! I still haven't done anything because nothing felt just right. That might be it! 🙌🏻
Can you share a link to the mechanism for the flip up counter?

What is your counter top material?
It's a lab countertop. I'll message you on Instagram
I may have asked this. What material is that countertop made of that caused so many issues drilling screws into?

@@Trailvagabonds As always, thanks for the quick reply. Missed your video this week. Did they cut the sink and faucet holes for you prior to shipping?
