  • Hello and welcome back to "Cookin' With James"! This episode I am doing a review on the Power Air Fryer Oven Elite. This Air Fryer is absolutely the ultimate air fryer! This is why it's called elite! more capacity, more attachments, but really easy to use. this will take the place of your toaster oven microwave and even your oven for your smaller cooks. This Power Air Fryer Oven Elite is the best kitchen/cooking purchase i have made. Check out the videos in link below!

    Thank you for this video! I found this air fryer at a thrift store. 1 easy payment of $17.79 😂 but no manual or recipe books. Now that you've shown me how to use it, I'm making cheesy tots as I write this 😁

    Nice review, I'll check out more of your videos. I have the Power Air Fryer Elite, it is totally better than the infomercials. One thing, though, people may see a regular Power Air Fryer Oven at WalMart and other places, those things have plastic insides, and the glass on the front doesn't pop out. I think both of those features make a huge difference, the Elite is way better.. Plus, if you look around (company website), you can get it a lot cheaper than Amazon, especially if you buy two. I love the round basket for tater tots, heck I would buy it just for that. But, you can't beat cooking meat on the rotisserie. Add a little water into the bottom drain pan thing, that also helps. I haven't done any dehydraing yet, but everything I've done has turned out good. Those biscuits in a can cook perfect on the trays, 100 times better than a cookie sheet. I'll check out more of your stuff, and look for some cooking things, I'm always hungry.

      I really appreciate your awesome comment!! I agree with you that This Air Fryer is better than even the infomercial. Thats good to know that you can get it cheaper on their website!! Nice thorough review sir! I see the dimensions listed on Amazon state: 15 x 15.8 x 16.5" . What is the actual footprint size? IE, which measurement is which? I have limited space. It looks like 15 is wide, 15.8 is front to back (depth), and the 16.5 is height. Thanks in advance! ~brian

      Absolutely!! if you have any questions please let me know!! you will absolutely love it!! my only suggestion is for your first use. put some bacon on the middle rack and cook at 400 degrees until bacon is done. about 10 minutes or so. when bacon is done. leave the grease in the bottom and run it without anything in the air fryer for about 20 minutes or so. this will season your air fryer. then remove bacon grease. ! Thanks for watching!!

      High Shirley. i did notice a slight smell the first couple of times i used it. all i did was oil the grates and put a couple of chicken thighs in there for about 30 minutes turning them every 10 minutes or so. it's just that the metal has to season up. its not a problem you should worry about. it should go away

      Yes!! I luv the one I have, it has a squared-off shape. ♥ Been cooking with it from day one since I got as a gift for Christmas. 😍 I had to experiment a bit the first couple of times I used it though. Some chicken wings I made the first time came out over-cooked and dry, so I had to lower the temperature and the shelf, then use more Olive Oil Spray. They come out perfect each time now. 😎 All other meats I tried..fish..steak..pork chops..sausages..lamb chops, etc., all come out nicely seared and juicy. Even some broiled asparagus (recipe in the book) came out crispy, yet, still moist inside. 😋
      Been trying to figure out what's a "better" use for that basket (which I've never used) other than french fries? This is really why I want that rotisserie attachment. Farberware doesn't appear to have one available. 😩
      Anyway, overall, I really enjoy using my air-fryer. It's a unique, fun, and of course, healthier way to cook. 😉
      Thanks for your quick reply. 👍😊

      @@CookinWithJames yes and no. I like my pressure cooker more. It is small to me to use. I burnt biscuits using all 3 trays. The cakes came out ok. Worked good for the frozen chicken tenders if I remember the times right. My son did steaks once pretty good cause our nuWave air cooker broke down for awhile. Still on learning curve I guess. We are not big cooks here but the stove does not work and our oven smokes up house so we invested in nuwave air cooker, nuwave hot plate, and pressure cooker. My parents got this oven for us xmas

    My Power Airfryer Oven Elite is VERY LOUD - it howels when it runs...I don't like to use it - it's so loud it's easily heard thoughout the house.

    how big a chicken have you roasted? Looks like the drip pan is insufficient for 6 pound+ roasting

    • @CookinWithJames
      @CookinWithJames  5 років тому

      Robert Hart I did a 5 pounder, u could fit a 6 pounder in here if u tie it up really good! It’s pretty good size! Thanks

      @@CookinWithJames TY, but what about the drippings... is the drip tray deep enough when roasting a 5# chicken?

    • @CookinWithJames
      @CookinWithJames  5 років тому

      Robert Hart do u mean is it deep enough to hold the juices that drip down? If so yes it’s deep enough. U can also use the nonstick deep basket

    I'm doing my research now for this product & all I see is negative reviews ranging from a chemical smell, to parts being broken, to malfunctions with the product, to etc. etc.
    I never seen so many negative responses from a so called popular product in my life. I need your honest opinion before I purchase this product for my lady.

    • @CookinWithJames
      @CookinWithJames  5 років тому

      I will bee 100 % honest with you!! i have had this thing for about 3 months. i have not had 1 problem with it at all. my wife and i use it letlerally everyday! the smell people are talking about is when you first get it. just like when you buy a new bbq grill or smoker you have to season it. the smell is the metal inside has never been cooked on . i had that smell my first cook, then through a piece of chicken in there for 30 minutes. let the grease drip down then cook again for another 30 minutes or so. the smell is just that it has never been used. check out all my other videos. this thing is absolutely amazing!
