- Its official, my Mustang GT is OBNOXIOUSLY LOUD!
We installed my 2MFabrication catless longtube headers over the weekend and its paired with the Corsa Extreme Catback system making it possibly the loudest set up you can have.

I know the feeling. I had straight pipes on my '17 GT before i got my long tube headers installed. It was so loud and sounded amazing. It shakes stuff off the walls of my garage when i start it in the morning. I just ordered a Vortec Supercharger and i cant wait to see what that brings. haha
Same went texas speed switched to roush cat back and got some kooks longtubes off my buddy burbles so nice on the down rev and even better on the downshift
This is crazy LOUD! I feel like my Roush Axle-Back would sound like a stock exhaust compared to this

It probably does. Met a dude with corsa long tubes, off road X and extreme catback. One of the best sounding mustangs ive ever heard. LOUD AS FUCK haha. Made my bone stock 2015 GT performance pack sound like a Prius.

I bought a 2012 mustang gt from Texas. It’s straight piped with stock manifolds. I want to do headers but is it worth buying CORSA extreme with them? I know the CORSA extreme adds tone but is it like a little better or A Lot better because currently there isn’t a ton of tone in the exhaust and I’m not sure if that’s the manifolds or the nonexistent resonator
Once I installed the catless headers it got crazy loud mine is a bit deeper tho because I have a 3 inch exhaust but went H- pipe instead.

Honestly X Pipes Or Double X Pipes Sound Better Than H Pipe. It’s Loud And Aggressive While The H Pipe Is Lower But Aggressive

So I had this setup before a woman t boned my 15 Gt ...now I have a 19 and thank for for reminding me how great it was lmao I will definitely go this route again except catted .

TheseRightHereBitch no i don’t think it would have worked for the 19 being a quad tip exhaust also I would have had to replace that exhaust with a another one for insurance reasons .

Too much man, imo... I have Corsa extremes too. As soon as I do headers I'm going to swap to sports (I don't have active) . But hey, if you and your NEIGHBORS can deal with it. More power to you, it does sound great, just loud. My issue is that some tracks won't even let you race on them due to volume, and I track my car 👍

Sports won’t make your neighbors like you anymore lmao. It only idles quieter. But cold start is still really loud
Quinton #9 i went with arh catted long tube header with h pipe and roush axle back, welded two magnaflow 10416 straight muffler on the h pipe, deep refined tone when wot it will still scream, balanced setup in my opinion

@@coderomes Florida. Exhaust laws are 78 db max 50 feet from the center. That's very easy to do. My Borla Ataks surpass that easily. lol

I did stainless power lth, h pipe and axle backs and LOUDDDDD....
I have borla ATAK with kooks catted and now I regret buying the catts because it’s still not loud enough and I would need a whole brand new tune for the cattless

Sounds great! Did you have to install a tune to run the headers immediately or can you run the headers without being tuned ?
I believe you can run the headers no tune, but I had a tune right off the bat so you might want to confirm that 😁
Not just a tune. What about the o2 sensors? They tend to go out quick since you're catless. Did you do anything with the rear ones?

William Mustang I had Texas speed long tubes and a borla Atak on my 2016 mustang gt and after a week of driving it definitely quieted down. Same goes for any brand new exhaust you put on a car

Yes to the grinding, but the MGW completely fixed the issue

I’m curious as to how much louder it would be than mine, it’s a 19 stock exhaust but no mufflers or resonator. I’m wanting to go with corsa extremes but I’m not sure the sound difference. Have you heard one with no mufflers and resonator?
mine is still probably quite a bit louder considering the headers, I haven’t heard one with your set up though! I would be curious to hear the comparison
Corsa extreme sound slightly less sound than the muffler and resonator delete x pipe. But you do get more performance. And if you add headers yea way more power and torque

Nah never remove the resonators or mufflers on these cars it sounds like shit. Get corsa extremes kooks long tube headers and no cats

I know I had the same issue with mine, end up being one of the springs in the valve not in all the way.
Nope, still broken. I tried to make sure they were seated properly, everything looked fine. Might check it out again
Teflon 5.0 yeah it only takes one side to mess it up. They a pain to get in!

Hey I installed these same headers and they aren't fitting so good they vibrate against the steering column and when I brake. Did you have to dent them to get it not to vibrate and ride crappy?
