Years ago I collected Rainbow Brite stuff and had made myself a custom Skydancer plush. When I got out of collecting and put stuff on ebay you actually won the auction for that plush. Glad to see it got a good home with you!
Awesome!! I was wondering who I bought him from! I still love him to death :D
Did you have any regrets after selling your items? I collected for almost 20 years but I think it might be time to let go.
@@natalie8212 Don't do it!!
@@RainbowBrite I wish I could come to your house and see the Rainbowland Museum.
Thank you for sharing your collection ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🌈🌟
You're welcome!! :D
i LOVE that color kids canvas!!!!!
+AJ Shirey Thanks!! Let me know if you'd like a copy of the digital photo file :)
+RainbowBriteNet put me down for one too please! And the poster at the end, on your (laundry chute?) door, do you happen to have a digital version of that?
+Kat No, I don't have a digital file of the poster. But here are high res versions of my photography:

It really feels like living in rainbow land :D I have a question the doll or the figure at 24:13 middle row next to the pink doll. Where did you buy it ?
+armanga The Madame Alexander Rainbow Brite dolls were available online through Toys 'R Us, and I believe directly through Madame Alexander's website at one point. I see them pop up on Amazon and Ebay on occasion, but they're much harder to find now.
I would love to find soemthing katy doesnt have or has never seen of rb. lol and send it to ya
Jennine already does enough of that! lol :D You're sweet, though. Thank you for the thought.
Sameeee
at 21:31 is that a bootleg tickle pink?
+joshtechsoldier I knew I should have mentioned her...lol. She's a custom :) The doll is from the UK - I can't remember the name of the toy line she belongs to. But she looked so similar to an RB doll that I had someone alter Tickled Pink's undershirt to fit her, and put her dress on her. She's holding a little wand that lights up - super cute!
PS I still think Maplebay is the popular character I know and I hope she still stays popular like she was in the past because to me I think she still one park class and two parts city and that's what I like about rainbow bright so I sure hope they make some more new stuff and I think the rainbow by classic shows real totally cool
Your museum is sooo amazing! I got a bit teary i must admit haha. Rainbow Brite was also a childhood favorite of mine, sadly never got a doll cause i was a boy so my parents wouldnt buy me one lol. Thanks for sharing!! Was amazing watching it!✨😊💖🌈
I'm so sorry you weren't allowed to have a Rainbow Brite doll as a child! Hopefully you can enjoy them now as much as you like :D
richilov same
This is so adorable. Beautiful. Nice job with the walls and the spindles! I love color!! What a happy place! :-)
Thank you!! :D
I love the 80s Rainbow Brite toys and show
I watched the full video and I was blown away!! What a wonderful place!!!
Awww thanks!! :D
Heather Sparkles :)
I should have guessed you'd show up here Heather lol.
I cried watching this video. I was crazy about Rainbow Brite growing up. My husband and I are truck drivers. If we could find time to stop, is there truck parking in Apex?
I would love for y'all to stop by! But I honestly have no idea about truck parking in Apex :(
there is i’m pretty sure :)
OMG! I WANT IT ALL. im a HUGE RB FAN TO. IM SO jealous.😲❤💛💚💙💜💖
It's always great to hear from a fellow fan! :D So glad you like it!
Absolutely loved watching this and how well kept everything is. I had a doll when I was younger, but my Mother got rid of it when we moved to a new place. Didn't realize how much bugged me that she did that until now. Can't wait to start my rebuilding my collection.
Awesome collections.🌈🍭🌈 love it.😍I'm one obsessed fan of Rainbow Brite here. I only have the complete DVDs.
Thanks!! It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow obsessed fan 😍🌈
It's funny to watch this and witness the similarities that people, who don't even know each other, may share. I love Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, She-Ra, Rainbow Brite, unicorns, etc. And it was so surreal for me to see that you have the exact same Pink Hello Kitty from Build a Bear with the exact same fairy costume that I chose for mine. I thought I was being unique when I chose not to purchase HK clothes for my HK build a bear, instead choosing the fairy costume! Lol :) Your collection is amazing, and it's great that you're preserving so many wonderful things.
It's hard to love one bright and colorful 80s property and not also love the others :) They were each very special in their own way. That's amazing that we have the same Build a Bear combo!! Great minds think alike ;) Thank you so much for the kind comments!
What a wonderful collection I hope that there will always someone to keep this awesome cartoon alive. I have a record still today the one I saw on your shelving unit. I love every bit of your video
Aww, thank you so much! It's been my mission since my mid teens to make sure Rainbow Brite's memory would never fade. And, now that I'm 40, I don't see that changing any time soon :)
Wow!!! Amazing!! My daughter and I have built our own little Rainbow Brite collection... But ours is just two shelves. Super cool collection!!
Thank you!! I love that you and your daughter have built your own collection! Great job keeping the rainbow alive :D
This is a really nice collection. I just watched a few episodes of this series and it's actually pretty good. I wonder why it only lasted for thirteen episodes? Couldn't find anything online about it.
Thank you!! I've never heard an explanation as to why they only made one season but, if I had to guess, I'd say the toys were selling so well with just those few episodes and the animated movie that they probably felt that more episodes weren't necessary to keep sales up. But I think it would have stayed popular even longer if they had made more episodes. It stayed popular in Germany because they had a ton of comic magazines and audio cassette stories that we never got over here - which is probably why they got the Moonglow doll and nobody else did.
Kind of strange they wouldn't make more episodes if the toys were selling well though. You need to promote the product to maintain sales. It looks like no one knows the truth about it. You probably know pretty much all there is to know about Rainbow Brite and if you don't know then possibly no one does.
My mom found all her rainbow brite stuff and me and her watched the show it was my first time watching it and it was great
That's awesome!! :D Welcome to Rainbow Land!
This is the absolute coolest collection! Im having my original Rainbow brite and the Star Stealer poster signed by Peter Cullen next month!
Thank you!! And that is SO awesome!! I would love to meet him someday!
WOW!! May I just say... from one Rainbow Brite Child to another, first thank you for taking the time to show all your special Rainbow Brite and Sprite's!! Excellent attention to detail!! I knew when you spoke on the spindals how you couldn't just leave them white why not paint them in rainbow color part you were my ppl! lol A while back my husband started bringing home the adult coloring books and over time I took to them as well, but it became very noticable that all I knew was the rainbow color pattern, lol.. as he brought this to my attention.. lol I was like hmm, welllll ??? It's all I can see! lol ... but super kool you did this.. I now have a daughter that is 2 already and well she done found my Rainbow Brite Doll and my Sprites from my childhood whom I have had put up in safe keepings all these years... It's really the sweetest thing to see her eyes light up as she points to all the different colors while naming each one! Thank you again for making this video!! I was taking it all in!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌈
Awwww, thank you so much!!! That is SO CUTE that your daughter already found your childhood toys and loves them too 🥰 With parents like you, hopefully Rainbow Brite will live on for a long time to come! Thanks again! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Omg love this I’m 34 and my two childhood favorites rainbow brite and popples
Omg,when i was little i use to collect rainbow Brite things in Mexico ❤️☺️but someone stole everything one day we were out,i felt so sad because it was mainly things that my mom got me over the years from like 4 till i was 18, seeing this video made me happy and sad 💕 i had lots of those things 😭thanks so much for showing us,...Love it😍
your childhood is all in that room
It definitely is :)
That Rainbow Brite ABC puzzle at 8:01 looks pretty neat; I wonder where it came from? My niece would probably adore it, because when I was her age I really LOVED the alphabet.
I bought it from a fellow Rainbow Brite collector, so I don't know where she found it.
dream house! you are literally living (in) your dream. wonderful by too much. sooooo envious! (hello kitty, too!)
It really is a dream house :D I love it!
8:50 We went to a retro event this past weekend in Philly, and one of the vendors was selling this stove and the fridge that goes with it. That caught my eye at the show and I jokingly said if I had room. But I was semi serious. In the end I did buy Rainbow Brite and Twink, doll set. It's my first. Apparently I like the character/show way more than I thought.
I still have one of the original pillowcases for that rainbow Brite sheet set from when I was a kid. I still occasionally use it as well 😂 even though it's super thin at this point. I think I still have an old rainbow Brite beach towel as well somewhere.
Awesome! :D
This was super cool .....I love it❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I love Rainbow Brite too cuz it was one of my fav childhood charachters, and I remember when a friend of my mom gifted for my birthday the doll! When I unwrapped the gift and found out it was Rainbow Brite I was screaming with joy, and like 10 yrs ago I started searching again for my old doll, and when I found it I was surprised about how good she was, looking almost like in mint conditions with her original hair ribbon too! Then I started collecting other Rainbow Brite's stuff and step by step I bought all the other Color Kids and Sprites I never had when I was a child! But my collection it's much much much smaller then yours! I only have 80's smaller version dolls with Starlight, Murky and Lurcky too, 80's sprites in bigger size, 80's books, DVD, the funko pop, party napkins, tape, rubber photo frame, an iron on patch, bedding sheets, and before loosing it the subway card case! I'd like to get the bedding duvet cover and curtains, plus the sewing panel plushes someday! I love your rainbow curtain and such a great collection!
That's so cool that you've collected so many items!! I never was able to find the rubber photo frame, so you've got something I don't :D Good luck finding the linens! I see them show up on Ebay, Etsy and Instagram pretty often so hopefully they won't be too hard to find :)
My bday #1 was of Rainbow Brite! 😱 I love this! I also need that Snuggie lol
Aww, that's adorable!! :D
More of a lovely locks fan and im a guy lol but use to love rainbow brite a lot. Neither one has gotten a good release on a disc. smurfs neither. lovely, bubbly person with great collection here.
This was my favorite cartoon as a kid! Masters of the universe and rainbow brite! Much love! Thanks for sharing!
You have great taste! :D
seriously would LOVE to come see this in person :) thanks for sharing!
+Mandi Urlacher You're welcome! I wish I could show it to you in person :)
This is an awesome setup! I LOVE the layout and color of the rooms. Thank you for taking us along for the tour! I wish there was more merch of Brian and the other minor characters. They get no love! A couple of timestamp comments/questions:
3:42 Is that the turntable?
15:00 I have that same print! I love the artist, and have even commissioned her once.
Thanks so much!! :D I wish there was merch for the minor characters as well. It's so sad that there isn't! At 3:42, yes, that is the turntable :) And that's so cool that you have Zambicandy's print as well!! It's so gorgeous!
Tu colección es grandiosa saludos de México
¡Gracias!
Oh, I so love Rainbow Land and Rainbow Brite (and her crew). 3 dislikes? Must be Murky and his crew.
lol - I hadn't even noticed :) That Murky just can't give up ;)
Im dying to see the kids and dolls clothing in the buckets...I've been on the hunt for actual child-size Bates-Jama and Dobie brands kids clothing since my stash burnt down in my parents shed. They were so a-plenty circa early to late '00s ;____;
10:44 And, of course, there you have the Rainbow Brite wristband, which I used to wear on casual Fridays before I got too embarrassed. But thanks! This is basically where my little spirit will go when I die, and God is like, "Here you go, buddy. Your own little personal version of Heaven." 🌈
💖🌈
This was such a great video! You brought back my inner 5 year old self, and all I was thinking about, was wanting to come over to your house to play. It brought back such great memories of my childhood. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing collection.
You're welcome!! I'm so glad you enjoy it! I'm always happy to show it off so if you're ever in North Carolina, let me know :)
This is such a magical and amazing Rainbow Brite collection! I enjoyed the video so much, as I have seen pics of your collection, yet a video is just incredible to see all the interesting items up close. :)
+The Jemgirl Channel Thank you so much!! :D
A lot of this stuff took me back. I still have several Rainbow Brite things from my childhood, but the only thing I have that I didn't see in your video is my Rainbow Brite sleeping bag.
When I recorded this video, I didn't have the sleeping bag, but I do now :) I don't know why I waited so many years to get one!
Ah, the bedding, I had all of that, plus the itchy "flannel/wool/felt" print blanket with the red satin edge binding. I wish I knew where that itchy blanket went, i know I still had it in the 90's, but 6 moves later I'm not entirely sure. As a kid I had to have everything Rainbow Brite, i had nearly everything up to '87 in terms of items released, most long since gone, one never thinks to hang onto all of that stuff, though I wish i had.
I've always been a packrat, so I held onto a lot of things from childhood. But yeah, as kids we're not thinking, "Oh, this will be rare someday!" We're just enjoying our toys! I hope you find your blanket someday :)
OMG Capacitance Electronic Discs! I have some of those that leaked over into my LaserDisc collection. I never knew Rainbow Brite made it to that format!
To this day, I'm still amazed at how much Rainbow Brite merchandising was done back in the 80s :D
Now I know what I want to do with my life. Thank you for sharing. You have an amazing collection.
Hehe :) Thank you!
Awwwwww!!! Right there to greet you ❤16:01
I still have remove break and patio green and patio green sprite doesn’t really have a face, I have a little charm rainbow Brite very little
Rainbow brite.
I am a huge fan of rainbow brite and I love the rainbow museum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awww yay!!! And thank you!! :D
i love your museum i am a big rainbow brite fan when i was little everytime i saw a rainbow i thought that rainbow brite was coming down
I still think that everytime I see a rainbow ;)
Yay!!! Do you have a rainbow brite birthday video in your collection?
I do :)
Rainbow land I wish I could live there! Great job!
Thank you!
Was that a RCA CED videodisc on the left @ 2:35?
Good eye! Yes it was! :)
Ohhh.... wow..... that's so fantastic. I'm 41 years old and I still love Rainbow Brite.
In the last weeks I collected 10 RB dolls and my friend think i'm crazy 🤣. I will show him your collection .... because THAT is crazy .... but soooo wonderful.
Much greeting from Germany .... from a big Regina Regenbogen fan ❤🌈
That makes me so happy to hear that people in other countries still love Rainbow Brite also! Germany got some amazing items that we never got in the US - like the audio play tapes, the comic magazines, and the Moonglow doll! Yes, show my collection to your friend so that he won't think you're crazy anymore 🤣
I'm so glad that people like you are keeping Regina Regenbogen alive 🌈
I watch Rainbow Brite on RPN 9 in the Philippines. This is right after Muppet Babies and before G.I Joe but speaking about the Philippines on 1:49 God almighty those Jelly are already expired 😄😄😄😄Why did you display that 😆😆😆😆
They still show it on tv in the Philippines? Or is that the channel it was on when you were a kid? Why wouldn't I display the jellys? They don't have mold growing on them, and I'm not going to eat them 😆 They're a rare collectible!
@@hilarioph They're in a sealed bag! They're not hurting anything! lol
i. want. it. ALL.
Yahweh created colors! I grew up with Rainbow Brite & have collected some items. Awesome items! I have the Colorforms collection which was wrapped but I unwrapped it to check out all the pieces.
Thanks! That's great that you have the Colorforms :)
I love your 🌈 Rainbow 🌈 Bright room! ❤️
Thank you!! 🌈🌈🌈
4:55 omg I've only seen that game once
Wow, I didn't realize it was that rare!
@@RainbowBrite my cousin had it. And sorry for the late reply
your tour gave me so much joy I saw many items I had when I was a kid, sadly I had a house fire when I was in 6th grade so much of my items were lost. But just being able to see them again brought me so much joy! I would love to visit if you still have this up those pins were so cute. Well Done on all of this.
I'm SO sorry to hear about the house fire you experienced!! That must have been devastating. But I'm so glad I was able to bring you some joy by seeing those items again :D It's a little messy right now (we're renovating the kitchen, so some dining room chairs and bar stools had to go in the museum until it's done... lol), but once that's done, it will be open to visitors once again! :D
I loved watching this thank you! She was just my everything when i was really little and it's really fun to discover what it was all about. I remember seeing some of this in stores when i was little. It's so nicely displayed and your assistant is excellent ;-) .
Thank you!! :D
I have the 1983 Rainbow brite money bank
Awesome! :)
Thanks for the tour of the museum from mike and I
You're quite welcome! :)
I love 🌈 bright too, but old toys around the house like this really freak me out, nothing personal you have an awesome collection, its just I get freaked out by old things, think it's after watching Annabelle....
I think a lot of people have pediophobia after watching movies like Chuckie and Annabelle. Heck, I think there was a Twilight Zone episode about a creepy doll back in the 50s! I totally understand :) I'm just lucky that my dolls have always brought me joy.
@@RainbowBrite Good. :) It is a fantastic collection. I bet they are well loved too.
So cute and pretty fun 🙀🙀🙀🙀🌺👩🏽💻🤟😍
Thank you!! :)
Heather O'rourke videos brought me here.
I'm sure her Rainbow Brite commercials were a big reason I fell in love with the merch. Such a tragic loss!
she ra too, and a lil o da old school {ViNtage} care bears
I love them all :)
Gosh when you see things you owned as a kid and all but forgot about, like that colour belt toy. I am glad I held onto all my video tapes.
adorable , i like the knock off and clone dolls too
Thanks!!
wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
+Sarah Kivert :D
I enjoyed this video a lot. you have so many things. Do you have videos about your Strawberry Shortcake stuff? I love Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake.
+LeniGirly Not yet, but I'll try to take one soon :) Although I really don't have much SS stuff.
Am I the only one who finds the stuff untrue to the original 80s style to not count as Rainbow Brite stuff? Like the reboots of the show etc....
I appreciate all of it, but the original will always be my favorite :)
Those are not lasor discs. They are called Selectavision video discs and you need a RCA video disc player to play them. I grew up with them. My mom worked for RCA. I was born in 1975.
I just absolutely love your rainbow 🌈 bright room! ❤️
Thank you!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I'm being Rainbow Brite for Halloween this year. :)
Awesome!! I hope you'll share pictures online!! :D
How Cute!!!
I had a Rainbow Brite sleeping bag and rented the birthday party movie soooo many times, my mom should have just bought it 😋. I’ll have to look back at pictures, I know I was her for Halloween one year, the fun plastic outfit, and I had the doll with the horse.
So cool, thanks for sharing!! Takes me back to part of my childhood, ❤️
Aw good memories. I was 6 in 1984 and that’s fantastic.
The best rainbow brite collection i have seen so far i grew up with rainbow brite i have the 80s doll and starlite her horse and i have subbed your channel keep up beong awesome 😊
Aww thank you!!
@@RainbowBrite your welcome you have gained a sub i love your channel 😊
@@Maria3145 I love your channel and your collection too!! Very impressive :)
I miss the original rainbowbrite, specially the Star stealer... Its hard to find a copy of that movie now.
Omg. Those jellies, I used to eat them and collect the foil covers. I would love to collect Rainbow Brite and She-Ra collectibles too.
The depth and breadth of your collection is amazing (seeing the vintage along with the new and the official along with the homemade/custom really makes me smile) -- but seeing it organized so beautifully is half the reason why it's so impressive and enjoyable to look at! Clearly curated with love. Bummed I missed out on that Target dollar stuff!!
+maidensuit Awww, thanks so much for the high praise!! And I'm bummed you missed out on those items too!
Is like a dream for me. I remember watching this cartoon when I was very little.
I’m so jealous. What I wouldn’t give for some of those toys!
That's so cool, I collect Sailormoon if you are familiar with her
Amazing collection of rainbow brite beautiful job
Thank you!!
@@RainbowBrite your welcome friend
How many colour pockeckets wer made in the 80s
Why is the Rainbow Brite Museum important
Looking at this, I've turned back to my 8 year old self - I LOVED Rainbow Brite, and now I'll have to put this museum on my bucket list.
Teehee!! Yay! :D
Can you tell me more about 2003 star light please
WOW! This is such a cool room! So colorful! 🌈
Thank you!! :D
I love RAINBOW BRITE too
Awesome!! :D
Absolutely amazing !!! i really love to know and watch your collection. I born in 1983 and I never watch this cartoons in Portugal but I already see RainbowBrite toys in that time.
I love the concept because i adore primary colors ^_ ^
I wish i can turn the most bigger collectionist of Vitinho (Milupa mascot created by José Maria Pimentel 1984) in Portugal
I'm so glad you like it! :D
Of all the items in your museum, which are some of the rarest items?
Woooow! I love it!!
Thank you!! :D
Do you know where I could buy some itty bittys, I'm from Australia and cant find them anywhere and on ebay shipping is like $30 each doll :(

wow ! truly amazing ! do you have or ever seen the prototype castle ? the big wall hanging that the dolls can be put in the sleeves of it ?
i also have my childhood rainbow bright dolls and rainbow playset.
great display !
i love the rainbow bright roller coaster !
thats what's so great about rainbow bright toys. there's so many interesting finds to this day ! im suprised you dont have little miss mke up in your collection. she reminded me of a teenage rainbow bright. thank you for all the great memories from your video !
+survive the t.v mind control. Thank you!! :) Yes, I've seen Galaticatt's amazing prototype collection. The Color Castle wall hanging is especially cool! I love that you still have your childhood dolls, and I'm so glad I was able to spark some colorful memories for you :)
I saw those She-Ra cells! Love this hun! So cool!
Teehee!! Good catch! Maybe one day I'll move them to the guest room with the rest of my He-Man and She-Ra collectibles, but for now I like them where they are ;) So glad you like the museum!
Don't get me wrong I LOVE Rainbow Brite but I LOVE He-Man and She-Ra too! I'd so love to see your collection or those! Do you have the new Matty colletor's series?! I so wish I could get the new Swiftwind but $100 is too much for a toy for me at the moment, we have to worry about formula and diapers, for now, lol ;). At least I can get Stormy and Skydancer!
You can see my collection for yourself! :D

Love your collection, really amazing. Love spotting the items I have! Though wanted to suggest black out curtains, since the items will fade in a couple years from the sunlight.
+Leo Otaku I do have clear UV protectant film on all the windows, and I do close the blinds during the summer, but I should probably keep them closed during the winter too. It's just so much prettier in there with all that sun! lol :)
