I am fifty-fifty on the series so far. The plot of the rogue CIA agent on the run from the entire US government and possibly a foreign power should have been retired a decade or two ago. The acting and plot pace has been very good, so I will give it a few more episodes.
Jeff Bridges acting is fantastic. I have 2 issues with the show. He was slaughtering Afghan's in the 70's being the ghost. Let's say in his 20's... that puts him in his late 60's early 70's per the timeline of the show. And he's kicking a 20-30 year old's ass? No matter how badass you are, the most elite killer, father time wins and you cannot fight like that in your 60's to 70's. The second is all the calls with the daughter. Whether she is alive or dead and it's all in his head, either way they are annoying.
Notice how his dogs have saved his ass several times this show. His dogs serve as his handicap. He is prepared tactically but without a knowledge of current technology in the game.
Damn near every gym I've trained at over the years has it's own variation of the "old boxing coach that KO'd the talented, brash up and comer" story. It sounds ridiculous, until you see it for yourself.
So I just watched the 1st episode......I am ALL IN

The show started going downhill after Jon Watts stopped directing the episodes.
