As someone who's written translyrics of my own, I cannot express how much I stand behind your vision and adore what you did with these lyrics. Not only are the rhyme schemes solid, syllables properly accounted for, and English bits in the right positions, but you did a fantastic job emulating the original sound of many of the phrases (I'm especially noticing "without you" at the end on the chorus) and wove in some truly inspired interpretations of the lyrics.
The shadow cast by light??? Oooughh that's good. And the last stanza of the second verse has seemed to stump everyone attempting translyrics (including me), but you did some profound meaning making and wrote something So Cool there!!! holy crap. It's so authentic to the original song, honoring it sonically and thematically, but also feels completely new and reinvented. It's exactly what I love to see from translyrics.
Auri also did a fantastic job, loved the little riffs abd such they added. You both created something super cool, thanks for putting the time and effort into sharing it with us 🙌

honestly to me this is very very very near too perfect. the only thing that i can think to make this better, if there were more change of voice, like how some parts hold so much emotion when he sings. other than that, this is the best English cover i have ever seen of any of the song from alien stage!!!!!

Whether I listen to this song in english or korean, hearing the words: "A story of such woe" just sends chills down my spine... It really just shows how Ivan feels about Till, how he won't ever feel the same way, how his life will never mean anything without him and how *his* story will end in a sad way whether he wants it to or not. :(

Hello, I wanted to ask if you needed any special permission from the original artists to cover this song and if so, from who. I intend to use a slightly different version of your lyrics (I’ll credit you dw lol) and the official instrumental. It’s my first time covering a song or releasing a single with vocals overall so I’m pretty stressed and didn’t want to mess it up… I would live for you to give me some pointers!
@@BlobOrange of course! of course! We want sprouts to grow in this household! 🌱 For covers you don't generally need to ask permission from the original artist when it's not commercialized. UA-cam for example will claim covers and give all revenue back to the original artist! The same goes for using official instrumentals. Vivinos' specifically put out a statement saying they don't mind fanworks if no money is being made. For translated lyrics it depends on the translator. I don't mind at all, including alterations and changes as long as I'm credited! But some translators have different rules, like preferring no alterations, so it's safer to check their policies. Some will have it posted in their UA-cam description, channel description, or their own website like carrd (me haha). It's always safest to credit the original artist, the instrumental (if it's not official) and the translator (if there is one), I'm sure they all love seeing covers of their works, so don't be afraid!
If you want to commercialize, for example putting it on spotify it's a bit different. You can't use official instrumentals, you HAVE to use your own original instrumental, and sign up to a distributor like distrokid or soundrop because they can give you a mechanical cover license, but usually for a small fee. So there's a lot to think about! I hope some of this helps!
