Ohio has nice places to explore in the southeastern part of the state. The lakeshore is nice and the parks system in the northwest is excellent.

As a lifetime Ohioan, Other than heading to either Cleveland or Cincinnati to watch your favorite sports team get crushed (most likely), your statement about there only being 2 things to do is absolutely right. Also, Property taxes are pretty bad here, but not terrible.

From Ohio here. You’re correct, CP and KI are literally the only 2 things to do here.
Also, this was a pretty typical visit to CP. Ride closed, ride closed, ride breaks after waiting in line forever, ride closed, ride broken, settle for Gemini, RAIN.
It’s a good thing you didn’t go for opening weekend. All they opened were gift shops.
Gift shop line got me dude, but I don't think your exactly joking. I'm a southern Wisconsinite and Great America is kind of the same way. Lots of time, money, and b.s. for 3 or 4 rides, makes me sad.

Iron Dragon is a different sort of thrill ride, in that you never know when you get on if it'll make it to the end or if this will be the time it just collapses
I will say this - a couple years ago they ran VR on this ride, and it took something quite lackluster and made it one of the best rides in the park. Bring THAT back.

So unprofessional OMG, he needs to explain these things to his loyal viewers. GOD SMH !!!!!!!!!!
On rollercoasters a block zone is a section of ride that only one train may occupy at a time. At the end of a block zone there is a method to stop the train, in case the block zone ahead is still occupied. This is the safety system that prevents rollercoaster trains from colliding with one another.

I always ride my Magnum in the last car for max speed and air time, but when I go on my trip this July, I've gotta try row 3!

I mean, my city has a decent sized beach park on Lake Erie, but I never go there. Yeah, I see your point. Lol
I was 17 when MF opened. We got to the park and went on MF first. I was so scared, but that's when my love for coasters was unlocked. I have been on 160+ coasters. MF is still the tallest, as every time I've been back, Dragster is closed. I may never get to ride it at this rate.
I went to cedar point last week and it was amazing! Sooo close to 100k subs! Wish the best for you!

Took a first timer with me last week with fast passes not knowing if she would even like coasters. Threw her on millennium at 9 and got right back on. Rode everything else at least once, SV twice, and Maverick a hot 7 times. Sorry I took all your cedar point luck!

I visited Cedar Point for the 3rd time in early May. It's a fantastic destination that should be a must visit for any tourists. Speaking as an Ohio resident, I 100% agree that Cedar Point is the only interesting thing in Ohio.

CPs new cost save system since 2020 is to close every ride multiple times throughout the day for "mechanical issues." Never wait in a long line for any ride there cause more than likely it will close during the wait. Vengeance and Maverick are down way more than Dragster ever was.
Doesn't sound like it's a cost effective system if rides have to be closed multiple times a day, that means they'll be down more than they're open, which translates into less ridership.

White water landing, much like thunder canyon, straight up sourced Lake Erie water. Fresh out the lake. without chlorine. It was perhaps my favorite log flume despite its fishy quirks.

I'm an airplane mechanic and looking to move away for my main career (gonna work on little planes freelance) you guys are making me want to apply to maintain roller coasters somewhere. These fuckers are so cool and interesting, and I can obsess about safety just like I do about airplanes.

We marathoned it and sat in every row and there was no magic.

Last time we rode Maverick it broke down in the rain which turned into a downpour and we spent the time stuck on the brake run, got a few skip the line passes for it.

I rode Magnum XL again recently cuz I haven't rode it since 2012ish, it was better than I remembered! I don't thing ques are too terrible either
I miss the Meanstreak tho cuz the ride was like 3 hours long and the wait was only 15 mins. But Steel Vengeance is a banger and probably in my top 5

Funnt thing about that “new lift motor” went to CP on Saturday the 4th. Ride was down all day, saw maintenance on a cherry picker sending riders over manually

I believe that you must check out Hansa-Park, Germany. It's rides are packed with thrill in them.
When we went everything kept breaking down... mostly after we got off lol. We got lucky -- steve and gk both broke down after we got off. Raptor was down most of the day and it's a family favorite so we stared at the trains running and got drinks.
My only complaint was food availability. For people with allergies or gluten sensitivity they do an extremely poor job indicating where you can go to be accommodated and what specific menu items are available before you arrive.
The Cleveland Orchestra is world class. So is the Cleveland Museum of Art.

For alot of people Ohio only has cedar point and kings island, but the air force museum near Dayton is awesome esp for a nerd like me, it has a collection nearly as good as the Smithsonian air and space museum. . Also the rock n roll hall of fame is worth a visit for some. So 3 or 4 things to do in Ohio?

There’s about 1000 pretty sweet waterfalls… there’s many state parks to enjoy and go fishing LMFAO… Haunted abandoned Mansfield reformatory.. Stan Hywet hall… cedar point… kings island… Kelly’s and middle bass island…. Awesome food… rock n roll hall of fame… casinos… lots of cool abandoned places… the legendary slip n fly park… clays park… the beyond legendary Nelson ledges quarry park.. the awesome white star swimming quarry… amazing place called other world In Columbus… Columbus zoo… and much more places to see and things to do… you can bet when someone says Ohio sucks they’re either uninformed or a real boring and unadventurous person… many things to do! I could name things for hours to do which are cool in Ohio! Also u walked past my car in the parking lot lolol
